@evilpixy It was edited out because the bit about auctioning the used one was a joke. The pair on Ebay are a new pair signed by Adam so the show could be deemed to have misrepresented the product on offer.

Adam has only been on Ellen twice. In December and and then this time. Kris was on it May and also this fall. Sadly, Adam wasn't on Ellen when Idol ended b/c for some reason, the runner-ups don't go on all the shows...I'm assuming b/c of time restraints. Cause now they have 2 idol members instead of the previous 1 each week. Kris went on the Tonight Show and Ellen right after Idol ended but there wasn't time for Adam to go on them before they both went to NYC for the post-idol media stint.

@bluebirdinthesky Every season of AI, when a member of the top 12 is voted off, they go on both Ellen and the Tonight Show, but after the finale, only the winner goes on both shows immediately after. Which I can only assume is because they fly to NYC the weekend after the finale, so they're both not able to appear on both shows. So I'm not really sure what you mean by 'loyal audience' - Kris and Adam's? Sorry, just confused about what's different about what I said compared to what you said.
