Adam Mark Explores, Debunked?

So with finding a new channel I found more to be polarising.....of course I did.
The CANDLE SHADOW is not a shadow. I said I was unsure but it's definitely not.
since publishing this video Adam has been in touch and sent me some footage once ive checked it and checked it properly ill make an update.
Adam has been very polite in his response both in the comments and privately. but that does not detract from what I do as a debunker. if I'm wrong I'll update. if there are shenanigans I'll update.
finally while the video evidence is polarising most are ignoring the 2nd part of the video where a location and its history have been fabricated.

Adam is a good guy. He only did tour videos of abandoned homes. Then some people kept asking him to do “paranormal investigation”, too. He still does the home tours & that’s what I watch. Each one is really interesting as to the homes….& he is very respectful of the things inside. ❤❤

I have watched Adam Mark Explores from the beginning when it was him and Dale. I really enjoy seeing the old places and what was left behind. Adam is very respectful and in my opinion very honest about the creepy vibes in some places. I will continue to watch Adam’s videos, there’s always gonna be haters I guess.

Anyone who does "paranormal investigation" videos (i.e., fake shit), has zero credibility when it comes to giving a tour of abandoned homes. I would have no confidence that the houses are abandoned, let alone give any credence to anything he says about them.

One thing I never got with some of these channels is how they do an entire "urban explore" segment and literally nothing happens at all. Then...they switch to "paranormal investigation" mode and suddenly there are bangs and knocks and voices and things moving.

Seriously Beardo, that's all you've got? Seems to me you've tried to manipulate the footage into something it's not. I didn't see half of what you were describing. That dark spot that you say is the candle holder shadow isn't shaped like the candle holder. I didn't notice anything odd about the window. The shadow of an arm could very well have been cast by Matt from Adam's light, he was standing to the right and a little in front of Adam. Adam doesn't make up stories about the places he goes. He only states what the legends are and there is usually a basis in fact regarding legends. As far as knocks and bangs that the microphone doesn't pick up, if he's going to 'fake' stuff why doesn't he have his partner make the noise from another room?

I’d like to just say I’ve been out with ADAM myself. He doesn’t fake the paranormal stuff like you claim he does. I’d also like to point out that the candlestick “shadow” is actually a blemish on the woodwork. I have pics which show this. The lying about locations is done for a good reason and that’s to protect the places he does from getting vandalised. I feel like this video has been uncalled for, and very incorrect. You’re right about one thing though, Adam is a good explorer. I feel like you should have contacted him first before making this video, he is very approachable, and would have helped you with the things you claim to not be true.

Did you know spirit can appear in a black mass...seen it personally and that is a fact!! When spirit move items sometimes if you are quick, the residual energy which follows can be seen....as with the arm! The box moved cos it was already on the candlestick. As for the shadow of the candlestick, I'd say its more likely to be the pattern of the paper! So.....Adam has a huge conscientious following... good for him.👍 Its expected that the naysayers will appear...so Adam keep up the good work and rise on up! 👍🙏

@@lunevalleyparanormal I have a strong suspicion URBEXHILL has done the same thing, its all about the money friend...I was in URBEXHILLS livestream a month or so ago and he has ads from like League of Legends or World of Warships or one of those big ones and then I knew what his motives were. Chris Hill is his name and he got mad on that steam calling out any debunker and I think he offered money or clout(it was one or the other can't remember) to anyone that can debunk his videos and he would put out the raw video. So these guys are probably on a similar course as URBEXHILLS ghost videos dwarf his exploration only ones by a good bit.

I can’t see much of what you’re describing Beardo in terms of dark areas and movement. Also where would the shadow of the candlestick be cast from? There is no light source from that direction, and no obvious shadows behind the other objects. Also, would there not be a shadow from the person/arm too if that were the case? Totally open to this being fake, but like to question the de-bunk as much as the original video. If for a moment one assumes it is paranormal, it’s likely there will be movement/energy/weird things showing up as the energy builds to move the object. Most would agree paranormal/poltergeist is a form of energy, so it would to me look more fake if nothing happened around the moving object. The book moving in the moments afterwards could be the top cover (dogeared corner) settling back down. Good to question everything though 👍🏼 I like the in depth analysis and different opinions on this kind of thing - rather than it being left open at the end of the video.

K , question. About the moving candlestick. Why would whoever stand full on in the frame to move the candlestick then mask themselves out? Wouldn't they just put a wire on the bottom of the stick and pull it down? They wouldn't have to do all kinds of masking then. I'm just tryin' to think like a faker here and that's what I woulda done. Less chance for error in getting caught and less work in editing - no? That candle shadow is odd. It has no bottom that I can see, and I can't see the teapot or card - anything for that fact actually on that mantle is casting a shadow. I do see the little black dots here, and there come then be gone, but that's about it. I don't see any big black blotches at anytime, even full screen zoomed right in, sorry Beardo, I tried but can't see any black mas. I don't see the window frame movin either.😢 I dunno, I just think fakers would still be as slight as possible to keep keen eyes from seeing mistakes. Sorry 😔 gotta be honest

It wasn’t a candle shadow it was just discolouration on the wall, the windowsill wasn’t moving, sorry your wrong. The shadow of an arm as you call it, was probably the spirit. Adam is an explorer and an honest guy.

ok my final thoughts, could be wrong, but this is my take. IF they were to fake this, the simplest way to do it would be more the obvious, as in string below the candle stick, pull it and hide the wire with feathering and warp technique. That would be the more obvious way to it. I cant see why they would mask the top area for something as simple as that candle falling from the mantle piece. But i havent gone over this as much as you have, so i could be wrong again. Just my thoughts. :) I edited this for typos lol

i would agree with our thought on the artifacting. What you got to remember, on nightvision cameras, the dark areas will usually get artifacting, so the blotches are likely artifacts of the video. But i could be wrong :)

I had to stop halfway through, this got me thinking. Most people don't notice all of those tiny dots and the frame by frame changes. I used to work in Quality Control for an internal car part factory and we had to take these color tests. Each color had about 20 tiles we had to order from lightest to darkest and it wasn't easy. Those slight differences are very hard to spot and unless you do it yourself, you wouldn't be able to tell. Idk if that makes any sense in comparison, but the slight changes are hard to spot for most people.

As someone who watches a different UrbEx channel I will say that him making up the history of the place is not only bad for paranormal investigating but it's possibly bad for urban exploring aa well. Personally when I watch an urbex video it's because I like learning about the history of the abandoned location being explored. If he'll lie about the history of a place he's doing a "paranormal" investigation of then who's to say he doesn't do the same when he's exploring an abandoned place?

I've watched Adam Mark before...when he was doing urban exploring. His associate does a channel called Dead City Urbex, I believe. They both did some cool videos about urban exploration, but lately have been getting into the paranormal videos. I quit watching them when that happened, because all of their thumbnails had become click bait. "So haunted, we had to flee!" "Gone wrong!" I used to watch Adam Mark until I figured out through my own research that he embellishes the history of a property which I hate. It shows a lack of integrity. Worst though was it has been suggested in some comments from other similar explorers that he has taken some priceless pieces from a property in Wales. He was the first explorer to this place and all the subsequent explorers’ videos over the next few weeks show these key items missing. Very disappointing. It put me right off him

Iv been and explored his location when it first came about. I was in there for about two hours filming (it's on my channel). Absolutely nothing happened, there were no creepy vibes...NOTHING It's just a time capsule house and nothing more . Love your channel by the way!

The only thing I sometimes get and it's rare is the odd evp that I notice when I'm editing and I'm usually alone exploring so I know no one's there. But for the most part I don't even highlight it in my edit

It’s a good channel but history is made up on probably 95% of places, he did a house a while back claiming it’s in wales but in fact it’s Lancashire and the family “died” leaving everything behind but the actual truth behind the house is that yes the husband was no longer around but the wife still lives there in a caravan outside of the property as the council have deemed the house too dangerous to live inside, I myself enjoy exploring but co’mon stop making false history up and don’t go into places that are NOT abandoned, that woman lives in fear on a daily basis now with all of these videos and photos showing the contents of her house hence why the police are doing regular visits to the property and steel sheeting has been put onto the windows along with the hole under the door filled in now. Good channel and I’m sure a nice guy too but just stop with the made up stories coz on every video it says “she died” “they died” “murdered” chill with the click bait and enjoy the hobby, the old saying is “take only photographs, leave nothing but footprints” but in your case it’s to make up history to earn some views and likes to be paid, just enjoy the hobby and not think about getting paid with making up stories. I hope this doesn’t offend anyone it’s just fact’s simple as that 💀

I really like Adam and have been watching his videos since he with Dale - and I do like paranormal videos as well but it’s not easy to catch actual strange activity but Mark seems to be getting it just a little too easily - that candle falling off the mantle was obviously fake whether I saw string or an arm or nothing - it made me laugh and shake my head but it also bums me out as I wish Mark wasn’t being fake - He doesn’t need to do this - he’s a great explorer and fun to watch as he is

Adam does need to invest in a better mic. He's barely getting into the paranormal. I have suggested that, he does need a better mic, in a few of his videos. Can you fake the (forgot what they're called at the moment) talking devices? (EVP?) He gets great answers with that, and also the radio. So I'll give him props for that. He also debunks more things than he claims. I've also told him to KEEP IT REAL! No trickery, it's not needed! What if your layering software just found us a ghost? 👻 Hmmm?😱😫😂

i know i'm commenting too much, sorry but i just got to the part with the shadow arm lol. To me what it looks like, there are cards, like birthday cards or chrismas cards whatever behind the candle stick, when it moves a card flops forward and falls onto the book, and because of the low standing light i.e lower to the floor, its the shadow of the card that looks like an arm. The cards are are a light shiny material, which you may not notice it falling at first. But one card falls, and another stays, which is why they just look like background. Thats what it looks like to me...but once again i could be wrong :)

The artifacts and in and out flickering shadows don't occur anywhere else except around the area where the candle is; which is sus. Also saw the shadow of the arm just before you did in your video. Why so much of it on the wall side; because that's where the person was standing? I think you're right on this one Beardo.

Idk, Adam is usually pretty good with calling out his own debunks and things, and has plenty of vids where he says well we just haven’t gotten a good result today. He does change the stories and locations 1- for privacy and security of the actual owners and 2- he’s straight up calling out ‘claims to be’ and ‘is rumored to have’ etc. He’s telling a good, compelling ghost story. He has invested in much better equipment over his time and now recently has stuff you can hear everything on. Just my silly opinion! I enjoy his channel very much and I do think some of what he gets is real bc it’s so subtle, and he’s a great presenter without being ridiculous over the top. I quite enjoy his urbex stuff too. With him I feel like, real or not, it’s great high quality content that’s great fun to watch. Love from Chicago! ❤

Danny did a good video showing the "remove string tool" in After Effects btw. Sometimes it can just be a case of that rather than a complex mask. This video has me almost nostalgic for when I was trying to catch Lainey and Ben faking. Every time something moved I'd notice weird artifacting and slight changes in other objects when going frame by frame, just like this.

Honestly I don't think these places are haunted.They are abandoned and then urban legends of murders and deaths begin to surround them. I have been watching Adam for years now because I love explores and time capsule properties.Originally thats all Adams channel was,exploring.Then he decided to not only explore but tag a ghost investigation on to this.I watch amazing results all the equipment going off and doors shutting on their own and a light swinging and strange shadows .And I really didn't imagine he was faking. But Adam is lovely and has gone to some amazing places so will continue to watch purely for such his well put together content. And I like the man and his mate Matt.But he should have stuck to exploring and not involve himself in nonsense of paranormal.

Glad to see he has gone back to doing sensible Urbex explores, at least for now. Personally I find middle aged adults stooping to doing teenage scooby doo ghost hunts with their AliExpress sourced K2's to be painful. Unfortunately its pandering to a predominantly American audience who seem to eat up this kind of thing.
