As someone who edits a weekly vlog for a footballer, I can really appreciate the style. This is almost like a mini-docu series and I'm really enjoying this journey to Tokyo Olympics. Great work Adam and the super team behind you who are documenting this brand new Olympic discipline concept for climbers. Also, I'm studying at Loughborough University in the UK they have just opened an altitude hotel facility which actually hopes to look at and study the affects of jet-lag for British Olympic athletes, in the hopes that they can limit the effects of travel that you are experiencing!!

@@LukeRockCimber i think it's two things: 1. hygiene (food while walking gets spilled) 2. respecting the food (and who made it, etc)

I’m Japanese and I think basically no problem, but eating while walking was considered bad manners for Japanese even just a decade ago. So, some older people might feel bad. But young generation don’t think so. Recently there is TABE-ARUKI culture means eating while strolling.
@semansco5 жыл бұрын
Jacobo Blanco give me a break, “respecting the food and the people that made it”. Is a complete fabrication on your part. As a 30 year Japan resident I can tell you that those things are not even a consideration. Walking while eating has a feeling of “dirtiness” and feeling of being out of place. Doing things in the “proper” way and in the “proper” place is a priority.

Climbing is a popular sport here, so lot of good climbers the gym needs to cater to. Also walls packed with holds changed on a regular basis means small gyms packed with routes for different climbing styles and ability.
