Adam’s golf is back! I review the Adam’s Idea driver from 2023.

Im pretty much a cobra or nothing guy with my drivers but got to swing this and I like it. I actually have the new irons and love them, very forgiving. Got the blade putter too, imo it's a cross between the yes putter and the taylormade rossa daytona. Which makes sense being taylormade owns them.

Very nice, I’m the same as you as generally play cobra drivers. Currently got the Darkspeed X in the bag. Have you put the Adams driver in the bag then? If so how’s it going?

@Acsgolf I'm still using the cobra ltdx as I just can't get enough of that driver, but I'm highly considering putting the new adams in the bag, it's that good to me

@ well let me know if you do and how it works out. Regarding the LTDx, love that driver. Replaced it with the stealth 2 last year and immediately regretted it! That’s one of the main reasons I want back to cobra this year. 👍

Nothing wrong with budget clubs most perform well. As for Adam's putters again will hopefully be decently priced but they are a remake of a yes putter.

I have the new blade putter. I'd say it's a cross between the yes and the taylormade rossa daytona 1. Which makes sense being taylormade owns them. I even stuck a rossa grip on it because that was my favorite putter grip ever

You are right, and I have to say there really isn’t anything budget about the Adams range, good numbers and very good finish. Which can be also said for a lot of other cheaper brands out there. They are all getting a lot better. Regarding the putter, video on that out tomorrow. Personally I was very impressed and with the price as well. 👍

@@Acsgolf can't wait for that video, I got the putter and irons and love both. You're right, nothing budget about the current adams quality.

It's hard to say there back when they are owned by Taylor made and are there budget line.

You are right. Being owned by taylormade does mean that Adams will most likely never compete against taylormade at the top of the table. However as budget clubs go because of the backing of taylormade these are very good. As I mentioned in the video it performs well at an amazing price and also doesn’t look budget like some of the other competitors out there. Also the putters they have released which I will be doing a review of soon, don’t scream budget at all! To be honest I think I’d prefer them over an actual taylormade one. 👍

If they start coming out with new stuff every year or 2 years and it's quality like the most recent line then I'd say they're back. I hope they do.
