I used the this same coating on my daughters Buick. Black also. It’s been a month. The car has not been washed yet and there is no water spots at all from the rain, I’m sure that will change as time goes on but wow it looks like the day I did it. And please please please remember everyone it’s all in the prep. If you don’t prep the car the product won’t work or won’t work as long. Another great video Brian. 👍

Good video bro. I have done 2 maintenance washes grpahene coated cars and it definitely rejuvenates the coating. One was after 8 months from when I coated it and it was its first wash. Jeep was filthy but the gloss came right back! The most surprising part was how well the wheels still beaded! Great coating

I reached out to you about longevity on this coating, on FB a while back. I coated my wife’s 2020 Mazda in December with this coating. I did apply the turtle wax graphene as a topper and my experience was so-so. For soap I’ve been using Total Detailing Drift (which is amazing). Lately I’ve been using about an ounce of xtreme Jersey devil in my foam cannon/bucket on top of the drift and finishing off with their topper. That combo has jacked up the gloss and water repellency to another level. Jic anyone out there is interested!
@loganwalsh3 жыл бұрын
I also topped with the turtle wax and the results are better for me than just the Adams graphene alone

Perhaps, I noticed a slight improvement in sheeting. I put 4oz of Adam's graphene in 8 oz warm water over entire car. No prior protection on car. Used noodle mitt up/down/left/right/circle. Rinse. Windows beaded and sheeted. Clear coat/paint had no protection at all. Going to add even MORE shampoo. They say 2-3 oz per full foam cannon. I used 4 oz. Going to make it 6 oz and see what happens.
@Stainlessautos3 жыл бұрын
I was surprised to see the lack of foam from this shampoo. My personal results have been very good with a 2oz dose into my trinova cannon. Nothing like a dedicated foam soap or even the regular car shampoo from adams but still solid. I really like this shampoo overall.

I was surprised also as Adam’s soaps always foam well. I need to try it in a different cannon to see how it does.

The gloss on that paint looks fantastic! Based on the performance of this product, though, I'm wondering if a person wouldn't be just as well served by using something like Griot's Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Spray wax, with Ceramic Speed Shine and maybe Ceramic Wash & Coat as regular maintenance products. Looks like the results would probably be similar, and for less cost. I don't know for sure, just thinking out loud...

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing I would agree. The coating was still present but looked awful. My final coating assembly was 2 coats of graphene + 1 coat of ammo Reflex + turtle wax graphene ceramic paste wax. Yeah it definitely took a hit. I knew it wouldn’t be a 7 year coating I was thinking more like 3 at the beginning. Now I’m thinking maybe 2 years. It kept the gloss and protected the paint so it did it’s job.

Thanks for this video. Not that impressed by this Adams Graphene coating. I have a 60ml bottle at home which i haven't applied yet as i dont have a garage but i will apply it one day. Been having great results with BeadMaker as a drying aid. I also have the TW Flex graphene wax. I feel like for people without a garage to properly install a ceramic coating - Beadmaker as a topper/drying aid and TW graphene flex wax as a base coat is all you need.
