. Everyone kept saying it, nobody tested it, so I did it. I love this shampoo, but to say it adds protection is a stretch. Okay it might add it to existing ceramic and graphene coatings, but definitely not so to bare paint.

Great review. There was some slightly faster sheeting like you mentioned. Probably best use this soap for a graphene coated vehicle.

I can see a totally difference in the sheeting. The stuff works like it’s advertised. But the idea of this shampoo is to maintain your coated car.

Which I said there was a slight difference... which quickly went away as I continued to flood the panel. That is not protecting bare paint from anything. I'm sure it is great for vehicles already coated as I said, and I use it myself on my graphene spray coated car.

Thanks for taking the time to review and give it a second look. I have had this product and used it almost exclusively for the last two years. My car is coated with Adam’s spray coating I use it to maintain the coating. My finding and opinion is similar to yours. I’m not underwhelmed with it nor am I overwhelmed. If it wasn’t for the great price you can get on the gallon size when they have 20-30% off sales I would have been more inclined to be disappointed. I love many of their other products. CarPro as you have shown, Geyon especially and even TW have washes that seem to leave better protection. On a side note I have recently started using their Adam’s graphene detail spray every three months and wow I’m really happy with that. Anyway thanks again.

Many Sio2 soaps are not made to be hydrophobic but clean coatings and fill voids in cracks of coatings. Others don’t clean and add more protection. The trade off can be streaking in sunlight or hot panels or the ability to wash an entire car and let dry without issue after washing it off. Just because they say graphene or Sio2 doesn’t mean they are sealant type of products although they may insinuate this. This is why we have options. Nice video, keep up the good work.

This is not supposed to be a foundation sealant it only use to maintain the existing coating only. Also the product does makes the panel sheet the water at a much quicker rate so idk what you expect lol

I actually prefer the quicker sheeting action compared to the beading. IMO, the sheeting leaves less water drops on the panel which makes it less vulnerable to water spotting.

In theory it makes sense, but unless you are dumping an entire bucket of water on the vehicle, water is going to splash and leave droplets all over the vehicle regardless. Same with rainfall.

From what I’m understanding this more so seems to be their version of reset. It may slightly add water behavior but it’s mainly the degreasers that clean the coating. Just tried it today and certainly noticed a difference on my graphene coated car. But I think it’s just deep cleaning it with the degreasers. My best guess I mean lol

BTW, Gyeon Q2 Wet Coat provides excellent hydrophobics as a spray and rinse product. I love it especially on wheels after I've cleaned them

I love this stuff. It's not "stand alone protection" but ... timestamps 2:40 and 10:30 are each 10 seconds after water spray off. I really do see the difference.

absolutely improved the sheeting over just the polished panel.. any how Adams don't say to use this for protection. it's tiny amount of graphene is to maintain the actual coating not add protection like other toppers or detail sprays.noone who knows anything expects or think t's a shampoo with protection in it

it's the marketing and wording of it. there are products that add actual worthwhile protection in shampoo form. however what you stated is correct, that is the intended purpose of it.

Maybe using the power washer is not the way to go? If that power washer will clean all the dirt off a plank on a wooden deck I would think that would power wash all of any resins that were left by the shampoo? I dunno? I put the advanced graphene ceramic coating on about a month ago and will be using the graphene shampoo when I wash my car soon. But like someone said I think it’s meant to be used in connection with the main product after car has been coated and cured properly.

if not using the power washer is beneficial then that is another nail in the coffin. I get that it is a good shampoo to use with coated vehicles, but I am just pointing out the bs claims of adding hydrophobic protection.

They should have just marketed this as a competitor to carpro reset. For that purpose it’s honestly an excellent substitute. Add protection it does not, and they are honestly dumb for any claims they made that it does.

I don’t think Adams Graphene Shampoo is intended to be a wash n coat product. I think it’s intended to be Adams version of CarPro Reset. The Graphene additive adds lubricity to the shampoo. It’s a cleaning shampoo. Stronger than Adams Car Shampoo, but not as strong as a stripping shampoo.

It's not, it's just a claim they made that I wanted to test. My first video of this stuff I talk about how it is basically like Reset. Definitely a high quality car shampoo.

It’s definitely sheeting off faster than before. Not a beading product that’s for sure. And most certainly not as good as many other products. It’s surprising that their claim isn’t totally false, but not something I’d be buying for that kind of performance.

Their claim is that it leaves a layer of protection. idk about you but that's not protecting the paint from anything. a layer of residue more like.

I just went back before water & after water & there’s a big difference 😂 idk why people are saying there’s not, the water separated way faster after you washed it then before, I mean it’s a very noticeable difference lmfao ya’ll are blind

I'm sure technically, molecularly there's traces of graphine and ceramic resins left behind. However, is there any meaningful, effective, lasting protection? I bet my left nut not. You're not going to get that from a soap.

That’s a shame… there’s definitely a difference after 24 hours of curing… But not good enough… even armor all makes a better ceramic wash, compared to adams… thanks for the video 👍🏽

Also, to compare, you should add the CarPro shampoo in exactly the same way, not pure onto the panel! If you are going to compare, you have to compare it the same way!

It did change and I said that, but it surely was not any type of protection, as that clearly isn't going to protect jack. It also wasn't a comparison to anything. We all know the blue car shampoo cleans. Not sure what all there is to compare other than how it rinses off but you'll just have to take my word for it.
