To hell with critics, Adam Sandler is amazing and so are his movies. Sometimes it’s not about how amazing it is from a critics standpoint, it’s about the effect it has on your life. The memories and laughs it created for yourself and the people you care about. When I’d get sick as a child, my mom would put on an Adam Sandler movie and lay in bed with me until I fell asleep. Now as an adult I still put on my favorite Adam Sandler movies when I’m sick, it almost feels like a warm hug from my mom. Takes me back to her rubbing my stomach and putting cool washcloths on my forehead. Nothing compares to that feeling, and this may sound like a dumb joke, but watching Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy or Mr. Deeds takes me back to that for a moment.

@@jiml4987 You're a troll. The lowest of the low. Your Narccasim and jealousy of a stranger are hilarious. Feeling so insecure that you feel the need to troll someone's compliment to another person is narcissism in a nutshell. Thanks for selling yourself out for all to see.

Apart from everything else, Sandler just gave a recipe for good parenting. Not saying hard work wasn't involved in every step, but the confidence his parents, sister and brother gave him was there for him when he needed it. Im sure they are as proud of him, as he is grateful for them.

I had the opportunity to see him on his stand up tour this a few months ago and it was one of the greatest things I’ve seen in person. He murdered that night and ended with a heartfelt tribute to Chris Farley. Brought tears to everyone in the stadium after making us laugh for almost 2 hours. Adam Sandler is one of the greatest people to ever exist

I teared up. Adam has a huge heart. Sweet and funny. One of the things I took away from his speech is that he's true to himself. He doesn't dwell on the negative cuz that holds him back from doing the things that he loves and look at all the amazing things he's accomplished.

Not only did Adam Sandler give us The Waterboy, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison & Mr. Deeds (just to name a few), he also gave us years of friendship, commitment to comedy no matter what the critics said, and an indescribable legacy that his movies couldn’t touch…but a kind soul that we don’t see much nowadays from Hollywood. He only cares about making movies and having fun while doing it. His fans and family are what means the most to him and i hope he knows that his passion and love for moving making is something that inspires all cinephiles everywhere ❤
