This HBO special was taped in 1996. Also in 1996 Adam Sandler did a 21 day tour to promote the release of his album "What the Hell Happened to Me? This is the band he used on that tour and for the HBO special...... It's cool to see Adam Sandler doing a rock concert (and he's pretty good at it too!), but the best version of this song will always be the one he did on SNL with Farley.
