The "lathee days of winter" (The Bangles). Using your tools, or in this case your cleaning sink, at the right height to Keri your back straight and avoid lower back strain and injury is key, not only when your my age (50s) but even when your starting out. Avoid that strain early on, as it's cumulative throughout your whole life.

I just started learning the lathe. Im only in machining school because of Adam's videos inspiring me to learn it. Thanks!

It was so cool seeing him work as I had graduated from trade school just as COVID hit with NOBODY hiring. Plus the trade school was shit and I've learned more from KZbinr's like him and This Old Tony

The irony of the "Safety" cabinet, and Adam using the washout tank with no PPE. Maybe it was just soap and water? OH! Then he gets the gloves.

That’s a very cool submersible idea.. I regularly am refurbishing with hazardous materials- but that would make disposing and cleaning much easier.. i love this channel- so many amazing ideas

Some part of my schizoid meta-narratives likes to imagine Adam's buddha-nature sympathetically acting through his mechanical garden and back onto us. I wish someone could take me apart & put me back together again with fresh set gears & a good dose of oil.

Looks good. Of course, I'm waiting to see Adam use the M-7 lathe. I don't think we ever got to see it used on Mythbusters . It would be great to see it in action. What does everyone think?

Hey Adam! I found a model 1902 pipewrench buried in my dad's crawlspace, can I just soak it or do I need a tool wash kit like yours to get it working again? I've got an isopropyl and detergent bath right now but it might corrode it.

Adam, that smal gear giving you pain should go on and off easy, its the change gear for metric threat, you turn it around to get metric. where is the motor? mine hangs at the back with change poulies between motor and spindle. fine lathe own it 45 years buy it new made in Taiwan.

Hey Adam, long tile follower, it's nice to see a happy face, concentrated on creation but, i have to ask, doesn't the politic turmoil bother you ... at all ?
@boyd132112 күн бұрын
That’s one of the main purposes of a shop/creative space for most of us… to just shut out the “noise” of politics and clear our minds for a while…
