It's truly amazing! The only thing I would do different is overlap/stack the metal body panels (like you would bricks), instead of them just being all in-line. But that's just me. Great work! And it MOVES?! Wicked!

I'd like to see it made out of metal, *I used to play with a model metal tank* , with real rubber tracks (which worked, but also came loose), and that was awesome to play with as it gave a real sense of weight on an imaginary battlefield.

pick up arduino starting kits. They have some on amazon and ebay. Or look up easy projects and buy what you need.

easy idea ... figure out what you want something to do ... like Sng .. a robot that walks and moves ... then work from item on down teh line .. such as ... you want it to walk ... HOW ..2 legs, 4 legs, 6 legs, 8 legs, tracks, wheels ... then make your walker bits and bobs to completion .... move to next bit and do it all again ... once each BIT is done combine it all once section to the next and test and carry on working out the problems ... eventually you end up with what you saw in your minds eye.... sure school would help ... but if all you need is an arduino course why take 3 years programming if a weeks worth of programming an arduino will meet your needs ... same for electronics ... you dont need 5 years worth of degree to wire an arduino to a set of legs and torso and make stuff move ... when a week worth of study or workshops will do ... sure some will be self taught from found resources online ... etc .... but like anything ... see the big picture but work on the fiddly lil bits one by one that you can do something about and eventually the big picture is complete and youre off playing with what you made

if you wanted to start and have no clue what your doing dont buy tutorials or watch videos on how to solder as most will probably have different things from you so it make confuse you id go to an e-book or e-comic or a real book of how to solder which is probably 1-2 most important thing in electronices and wonce you get the idea you can be more creative and buy better equipment but id start of with a cheap soldering and gluing kit for 20 on a website called euro car parts and the kits called am-tech soldering and glueing tool kit and its realy good value for money
