$30 Nidage Wireless Endoscope: amzn.to/3eih4x2
Adam marvels at the advances in electronics miniaturization on display in his recently acquired endoscope. This is a flexible wireless camera with a built-in light that you can snake into hard-to-reach places and crevices around your home or workshop. It sends HD video you watch remotely on your phone, and this model has the smallest diameter of any endoscope Adam has seen--plus it's only $30!

Hi Adam. Short story about my boroscope I use in auto engine inspection. Some years ago we were having our kitchen completely remodeled and while outside in our back yard, I noticed a baby rabbit in trouble. So, I brought it in the house, made a box for it and made sure the rabbit was as comfortable as possible. Well, we awoke the next morning to find the rabbit was not in the box. Now, the top was folded in so we thought it would not get out. We searched the whole house and nothing. We were going crazy, don't want a rabbit loose in our home. Then I thought, I have a boroscope, let me look under and behind the lower cabinets. Low and behold, there it was , between two side by side cabinets. One way in and one way out , up and over the kick panel. We got the little rabbit out unharmed but only because of my boroscope. I love my boroscopes so much I have two different types. Flex shaft and solid shaft.

My tumble drier was over heating and shutting down and at less than half the callout charge of an engineer it was worth sending one of these down in search of an errant sock or some other blockage to find that the flex hose connecting it to the wall had gotten kinked a fault that wasn't apparent when i pulled it out to check on the unit . . saved a fortune and now have an excellent tool in my kit

Bought one of those a while ago to save some money and give myself a home colonoscopy. Kidding, but if you knew what you were doing, it seems possible. : ) I bought one a year ago and it's come in handy a few times. It's one of those tools you won't need often, but when you do need it, you'll be glad you have it. I dropped a small bolt into my motorcycle engine and had to find and retrieve it. Without the endoscope I never would have been able to do that without taking the engine apart. Also good for examining cylinders and other parts in the engine.

Just charged my 5.5mm/10M/5mp this evening in case I need it for a job tomorrow morning (only cost around $50AU a couple of months ago) and your vid just popped up in my notifications...strange how the world works?? ...A customers vehicle is losing or consuming coolant somewhere so possibly a head gasket leak. I Have a similar app.style one I link to my phone, so I'll take a look down the spark plug holes...so much easier to use than all-in-one units from recent times you mentioned (I separated the screen from my old one and added an extension lead between the screen and hand piece to make it a little more practical but it's nothing compared to these new wifi ones) also sooo good now we can take still pics and vids with them too...I use it to capture all sorts of stuff, and find it really handy to be able to send footage or pics directly to my customers, or post the pics/vids here for the whole world to see if I choose...technology nowadays is such an amazing thing👍🇦🇺

Not sure if I can post a direct link here but I'll type it down below. I'm in West Australia, I got mine off eBay via N.S.W. I searched under 'wireless inspection camera' and plenty came up. You'll need to go through and read the descriptions to select the one you want..at the moment most sellers are out of stock on the 10m/5.5mm/5mp but most offer the same in 2M or 5M still, or just order ex-china if not in a hurry. Even now, I still use it for completely stupid stuff. My favourite was attaching it to my Dog's lead/collar(so the lead carried the weight and not my Dog's back), it was fun to see roughly what my little Doggo sees when around the house and out for a walk. Used it as a rear view camera once, on myself, and spent a few hours trying to live my life backwards xD Seriously, get one, and just be a child about using it, you will love your life :)

After watching this video, I went out and bought one of the endoscope he reviews. It came today and I figured out how to get it working with both my iPhone and iPad Pro. Then something occurred to me and I tried taking the thing out to my travel trailer, to see if I could use it as a backup camera. Imagine my surprise when it worked, though I was standing right next to it, so it might not work from 35 feet away when I'm in my truck pulling the trailer. Then there is the matter of figuring out how to find a place to mount this thing inside the trailer so that only the camera itself is outside. And as the company that makes this little camera doesn't seem to have a functional web site, I have no idea who to ask about developing my idea. Still, I suppose I can work on the hole in the rear of the camera first, so I can play around with the idea. Thanks, Adam and Tested for making my summer trips more interesting.

I used a usb-C wired endoscope to rescue a AA battery from under my seat. $20 for the endoscope, and the dealer wanted $650... but I didn't know there were affordable wireless ones! Very cool. Even if I get this one as well, I'm still up by $610!

I'm an Auto Mechanic, a Hobbiest, but I build engines and do a huge amount of work as I'm building a Trans Am at the moment, just ordered this thing, because they're great for looking into engines.

I swear I have terrible timing. I've been eyeing an endoscope for several days and finally bought it last night then you put out this video today! Luckily the one I bought was on sale but I could've gotten an Adam Savage Approved endoscope for my collection!

I have a micro-USB version that looks very similar; but between the app and the hardware it was pretty shoddy and didn't work well. This looks cool and very tempting haha.

These things are worth every penny for one reason: inspecting your car and engine. I have found leaks, hidden bolts, and dropped sockets in less time than it took me to set up the endoscope in the first place. That 90° attachment would make things even easier.

I drain my cottage's waterline by removing submersible pump's riser from the inside of the well casing 4' down. And then I fumble around trying reconnect after. I used my endoscope to reconnect this year, so much easier when you can see what you're doing!

I have the same one, they help a lot with auto repairs. I was able to use it to find a small leak in my fuel pump without having to drop the whole fuel tank.

The tip is just a lens then there is fiber optics down to the camera that's in the little box. The automotive industry calls this a bore scope.

I got an endoscope a few years ago. I think it cost around $100. The focus and depth if field on it were crap. Yours seems to work a whole lot better. I was using it to try to figure out how some joists were oriented so I could hang a clothes rid from the ceiling if the laundry room. I didn't learn ad much as I wanted too because it was totally disorienting trying to figure out where the lens was and what direction it was pointing.

I have a few endoscopes, not a fancy wireless ones, but they still connect to my phone, one is one for looking in walls, in pipes, ya know, dirty jobs and it's like 20+ft long. The other is one I use to check/clean my ears/mouth or not so "dirty" jobs. They're so great to have, heck, I've had a long cat hair stuck on my eardrum and was able to fish it out using one of the endoscope attachments and some tweezers.

I use Nidage on my burrowing tarantulas every time I have to check on them to see if they're doing alright! I love this product! I am not gonna lie lol Otherwise I won't be able to tell if my pets are alive underground or not. I only use this high-tech gadget on borrowing Tarantulas not Terrestrial ones. Heck I can also use it to check my arboreal Ts peaking inside their cork bark round hides just to see if they're alright in there. I absolutely love this product!
