What an amazing, hidden history of the California Academy of Sciences Museum! I didn't know that it started that early, or that pretty much everything but those rescued items had been destroyed in 1906. Little did they know their progressive thinking would bring them Alice Eastwood, who would risk her life in the fire to save those one of a kind items. Now, as a jeans person, now I'm rethinking the practicality of skirts! Great 5 minute knowledge slam, Adam! 💜✊
