Rhythm such a good reminder but he gives it a good whack too! And he gets anxious too. So humble. What a top bloke so relatable.

Gorgeously filmed, nothing else quite like it on YT, Scott is so chilled for a world famous professional sportsman, and Iona is the perfect interviewer, class 😊

Thanks Iona, Adam Scott seems like a very laid back guy, but I know he is also extremely competitive when in contention.

I’ve always said rhythm is so important in the game. It’s always the answer I give when asked about playing,because it’s all through the game. Also it stops you from trying to smash the ball as hard as you can cos you can loose everything. And that’s exactly what Adam Scott has rhythm though out his game which makes his swing such a wonder to watch. And it’s always great to listen to what the greats have to say 😊
@PikaHoaloha9 ай бұрын
Love Adam’s philosophy about the game, and his swing isn’t half bad as well 🙂. Love the way you quickly put people at ease so you get the most interesting dialogue from them. Such a skill 👏👏
I can't imagine there's a nicer chap on tour. Love to watch him and I was so chuffed when he won the Masters. With his game I'm surprised he hasn't won a handful of majors.

For me, the biggest key, by far, is extremely light grip pressure. I have to trust my subcortical brain to tighten it up just before impact - otherwise I waste energy, stiffen up, and do not create the speed I'm capable of generating. Can anyone out there relate to this? I'd love to hear the thoughts of others.
@mattbrown42698 ай бұрын
Ok. I appreciate the inclusive approach to “just find your rhythm,” but this is coming from a guy who has developed all those fundamentals from a very young age. You can have a good swing if you are on plane approaching impact, have a good weight transfer, and have a square-ish club face. Rhythm helps you do those things, but rhythm isn’t all you need.
