Wow! Just happened to be stuck in the Great quarantine of 2020 and needed some music to make me clean my study. Never heard this guy before and what a wonderful surprise. Won't forget his name! No my study is not cleaned yet. Music is too good.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for stopping by my channel and for the kind remarks. Adam is a tremendous piano player, and he has performed several times at the Glenn Miller Festival in Clarinda, Iowa. Usually held the second week of June every year, this year's festival has been canceled with all that is going on with this virus. We're making plans for 2021. Plan on joining us next year for the Glenn Miller Festival.

at 59:31, he starts the Dame Vera Lynn medley off with her popular song We'll Meet Again, although I don't hear Adam announce it. Thank you so much for posting this great concert of this fabulous musician.

Did anyone catch the title and composer's name (Trebor somebody) at about 31:00 please? His accent is almost impossible to understand with that sound system. Thanks. Enjoyed the whole concert. He can entertain us all day. :-)
@unfiltered776 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's Trebor Tichenor. And the piece is entitled "The Show-Me Rag".

I would love to know what dialect of English you speak. His dialect is pretty standard upper Midwestern American English. The reason I ask is i am fascinated by regional dialects and foreign accents.

Love this, and love Adam!! I commented yesterday with a full list of all pieces and composers played, but the list isn't showing up here. I wonder if it's being approved, or if I messed up submitting? Would love to help out by listing all the pieces! :D
@kcbigbandjazz5 жыл бұрын
Hi Christy. I saw the list in my e-mail yesterday, but I'm not sure why it isn't showing up here. I didn't block it. It might be a KZbin thing.

Christy, I added your tune list to the notes on Adam's performance. Thank you!

Okay yay! Wanted to make sure it went through for all to enjoy. Thank you! ^~^
@skysox446 жыл бұрын
RWBHere - you are referring to Trebor Jay Tichenor (1940-2014). Trebor is Robert spelled backwards. There is a Wikipedia article on him and also I believe there are some videos on KZbin.

Adam Swanson isn't 'a piano player'! He's a MUSICIAN who's instrument happens to be a piano!
@edithsmith74786 жыл бұрын
Wow. That is great. You must write more. Speaking of the computer guy who composes sitting in front of a computer, what I can’t understand is the ease with which you play that difficult music. Your hands are a blur sometimes. I wish my hands could play at 1/4 your speed or maybe even 1/8. 😅🤢😸
