This is such a bizarre take amongst football fans. You know by saying that you're making it sound like you think that Vinatieri literally does everything himself right? Does he throw any passes?? Does he catch any passes?? Does he call plays?? Does he play defense?? He made some clutch AF kicks, hell yes, but saying that he's the reason that the Patriots won is hilariously short-sighted.

Matt Bryant technically is older then Brady at 46, but he is a free agent just like Vinateiri was. Brady is the oldest player on a roster currently unless Bryant gets signed.

Is it just me, or did great NFL players like Morten Andersen and Jan Stennerud (whom are HOF kickers), and all the rest of them, just get treated like they were scrubs? C'mon. It's not as if Adam Vinatiery invented kicking or something. Adam is without question great. No doubt. But tell me why he should get in, on the first ballot, when Morten Andersen had to wait. At the time Morten was the all time leading scorer too.
