Back in 1976-1977 I played no less than 12 ping-pong games a day for 53 weeks. There was only about 45 inches of room between both ends of the table. It made for fast games. I got very good at the game but haven't played it since. This was a lot of fun and I'm amazed at how much room you have to move and play with.

For anyone curious: To beat players who are good at counterattacking speedy drives, who love driving the ball, like she does, you have to refrain from driving the ball and you have to loop them to death, vary the depth of your shots a lot, and you have to make a strong effort towards making them have to hit a low ball whenever they're the first one to play an attacking shot. Another tactic that seems to be effective against players like this is using lots of sidespin whenever you play to their backhand. Players like this love to stick their racket out forward and take the backhand early. Using sidespin forces them to have to judge their racket position. Plus, it usually makes them take the ball a bit later too, and all of these factors mean that they struggle to hit the punches that they're comfortable hitting, which put you under pressure to get your body into position in order to sustain your attack.
