good match but for someone that is considered a "Master of the butterfly guard", adam's guard is surprisingly limited

this guard is inherently limited. that's why it's niche. he puts it to the best possible use. part of its effectiveness is that many people don't have a very developed counterplan against butterfly, since it's relatively rare (as a default weapon). that's how I see it at least.
