A lot of gold players in the comments saying its bad gameplay because his teammates are never full health, when thats how you play Warlock... You´re supposed to keep your team from dying and since his heals are scarce with a relatively long cooldown you should use at the most optimal time. Its also burst healing so Its usually the difference maker when your team is about to die then suddenly is half HP again.

A lot of ya’ll actually dont understand whats happening here so imma break it down for u First and foremost BURST healing is more effective as cooldown bait, the enemy thinks they can secure a kill and then boom, opp is healed, they wasted their resources, and they just might be too far to retreat Second, adam isnt a dps, but one of his primary goals is to soften up the opponests for his teammates as much as possible so that they can secure. Adam, like zenyatta, is a spam demon, its more about preemptivly shooting the right spots than hitting and killing everything, especially since, unlike zen, you cant headshot withfullcharge . If you are hating on this guy its 100% bc YOU dont understand whats going on. Try to learn a thing or two from the tried and true

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: This guy does HIGH damage and heals just enough to WIN and is top 5 in the world. You do LOW damage, heal bot your team to 100% and still LOSE in silver. You and your obsession with healing stats are the problem. Strategists are not healers, they do damage, provide utility, and heal enough to win. -GM mantis

if you lead your shots right with the charge, and then fire the normal attack directly after, adam is anti iron man and storm. really any dps but easier on the flying charac ters that dont really run with a group of other players it normally can kill any dps if you hit every shot of that combo. ive had a 48 kill game with adam before without an OT. Hes sooo good if you do it right

Why he sometimes clicks his right click and cancel it with a melee attack? Even if he cancels, he still consumes ammunition, so he should shoot decisively. But he is top 1, so I guess it makes sense.

Adam is super reliant on positioning since he has no movement, most of the time if there no chance to hit a target its better to cancel so you don’t overtly give away your positioning to things that wanna kill you Other than that, prolly saving stats

Burst heal specifically gets more value when u make the enemy “all in” on someone they think they can kill. Its smarter to save the heal for when the enemy is too invested to escape
