Great video as always! Some match ups i didnt even think about, but hes so versitile. Like, he can also do korg. The basic rotation is remove his rock stacks first, if he gets a special attack you preferably bait it before removing them all, then nuke him while they're down. Even if the rock stacks do come back both of Adams specials are mostly non contact (barring the final hit of sp2) so those are easy ways to keep your counter up.

Thank you!! Man I wish I’d gone for Korg properly now, I did try it a couple times and things didn’t go well but I should have persevered haha. It did feel like a lot of lining up at the time with rock stacks, specials at the right time etc but tbh I did way more for Killmonger and Bullseye so you’re 100% right Great call, I’ll have to practice that one :)

Damn it! You told everyone my secret matchup against domino 😂 that trick also works for Maestro! Amazing video, awesome tips! Another thing to watch out is that lately the megamind AI just hits the pod and perfectly waits to throw his special at the exact moment you are getting out and because you think you have that opening from the indestructible he hits you in the face (this only happens if your Adam is low sig, or else he would be stunned)

I do love my r2 Adam . I tend to play too aggressive with him to keep the counter active and more times than not I pushed them to 3 bars of power lol

@@bittersteel7362 yea me niether, but hes kinda diffucult.. the sp1 energize + the sp2 unstopable and the special lock makes nimrod a sketchy fight for adam.. yet he i still got some r5 ascended nimrods in 40 or so seconds

So im pondering rank 3 adam knull or hype all unduped. What would you recommend? Also when you use the pod , if they throw a sp into it I sometimes get clipped by it. Would you recommend just pretend to dex as normal ?

Either Adam or Knull personally, hyp kinda needs the dupe and has less overall use in the game imo. For me, in the pod I tend to just learn the timing and dex out after. But it could be useful to pretend to dex - just be careful you don’t manually trigger the pod by tapping block if you’re in the initial pod from the sp2

@@bittersteel7362 trappy also posted a way to nuke him with Hulkling, you need to hit his block once and take a bit of damage, but it’s reliable and that one hit won’t take off too much. I personally run ascended Galan always and ban CGR. Love your showcase and tbh would love a Gladiator showcase even more ✨

Doesn’t need the dupe at all! This video would be almost the exact same if my Adam was unduped, only difference here really is occasionally when the opponent hits my pod they get stunned (you can see it in the Fanta matchup for example). There’s also a small amount of healing, but it’s not super impactful. Oh, and the silver stars look pretty neat

absolutely hate this guy, maybe its because he's unawakened, but that pod on his sp2 is so jarring and screws my rhythm so bad that as much as I want to like him I just cant.

The sig doesn’t do too much to change his playstyle, but yeah I completely understand- he is a bit of an adjustment especially on the sp2. If you did want to get into him, I’d recommend just doing some practice mode, going for the sp2 and practice using the pod, then the invulnerable period, and then dex to avoid specials. It can take a bit of getting used to but I think he’s awesome

@@bittersteel7362 the one moment i knew i wasnt gonna vibe was him when I used his sp2 and hulk hit me with an sp1. so it was a stun into a stun...which i wasnt feeling, at all.
