I like this and the Champion Edition.I was playing the Champion Edition vs my cousin then I had this cartridge and told him to step your game up.Truthfully the Champion Edition is sweet to.

0:49 - Is this game play on a clone system cuz the background for the character selection screen shouldn't look like that? It's suppose to be dark blue instead of reddish purple.

I'm 9 years late, but no, this is on real hardware. He's playing on Expert mode which allows you to fight all the characters in the game in a single playthrough instead of just 8 of them. This is exclusive to the Genesis port too.

Well actually... thanks to the fact that they actually tried making the snes version sound decent while they just put all the music through an autoconverter for the genesis.

+123TauruZ321 I agree. It sounds almost like on PC MS-DOS version. IBM PC used YM3812/YMF262 OPL sound chips which had more channels but poorer sound capabilities than YM2612/YM3438 OPN2 (OPN sound chips had four operators per channel while OPL only two but IBM PC made it up with more amount of RAM).

I never owned a Genesis, but is there really a difference? All I know is that the audio sucks on Genesis emulators while here the audio is great.

@@Mateoski97 I only have the model 2 and my basis is purely by ear with the help of KZbin video comparisons. What I've observed that the model 2 lacks the forwardness and clarity the model 1 has. Model 2 is a bit mid rangey while model 1 is on the trebly side. But that's just what I'm hearing.
