Excellent find Adrian. Also big thanks to being able to get this hack to work on PAL 50Hz too mate. I downloaded this myself and gave it a go. Wow! NGL, I really like these BETA Soundtracks that is implemented into this. I did try to do the select Level by quickly pressing Up,Up,Down,Down,Up,Up,Up,Up during the animation before showing the title. But doesn't seem to register, tried numeorus times to no available. I even got the cheats enabled on the Everdrive x7 settings. One thing I was confused was the emeralds showing on the new save. Then realised that in the start of the game Sonic has them all before crashing to Knuckles and losing them. Glad your notification reminded me that you uploaded this Adrian. glad I came across it.

Thanks a lot Josh, yeah I thought about it yesterday and decided to just do it but keep it low brow. The cheat is very hard to put in, it's even harder in NTSC as you have less time to react. Yeah I think that's a bug where it shows the words ''DATA SELECT'' in the save windows and the emeralds in each empty save window when it's not supposed to, not sure if that's a bug produced by me reversing the region code or if it does that in the USA patch, i'll have to check it out and verify.

Can confirm, the Data Select screen corruption is not down to me, it does this in the NTSC USA version too.

Reversed the region code through a hex editor and then used a flash cart. 🎮

@@Oysterblade84 oh I see That's Still really cool that you were able to get to work on an acutal Sega Mega Drive Would you be able to do a soundtrack video for this I would absolutely love to hear what the non sonic orgins versions of sonic 3s prototype tracks sound like in 50hrtz from what I've herd in this video they all had me jamming out due to how cool they sounded my favorite would have to be launch base zone act 2

@@ritaandrunt5767 Thanks! I already uploaded the beta Sonic 3 tracks a long time ago when they first became public. I made a CD and uploaded it on youtube. I had to record the tracks in 60Hz at the time as this ROM hack didn't exist then but the music is identical in 50Hz so there's not much of a reason to put it up in 50Hz seeing as I already put it up in 60Hz and it sounds the same. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ravXlpSMjpidea8

@@Oysterblade84 oh I didn't know that you uploaded the beta sonic 3 tracks as soon as they frist became public And made a cd soundtrack video out of it and sense the tracks themselves sound the same between 50 and 60hz Then it would seem pointless to re-upload them in 50hz because as you stated the rom-hack didn't already exist at that time when you made this video but it was still cool to hear what the prototype tracks sounded like in 50hz thanks to this video and I'll be sure to add the soundtrack video to my watch later Playlist
