Being bi polar myself, this dude is deffs manic ATM, I have had some crazy manic episodes and during most of them I didn't see myself as being manic, I thought I was changing my perception of the world and thought I was helping myself but all it was doing was diluting myself with my own ignorance and I thought everyone else was ignorant, trust me this guy will hopefully come out of this manic episode and realise that he was thinking crazy but he will need help to do so, it's hard to come out of it by yourself

Some people are able to manage mental health issues like bipolar affective disorder without medication. It takes a lot of work and support and knowing themselves well enough. Unfortunately there will still, at some points, be episodes of mania and depression. Unfortunately (especially with the mania side) it can be incredibly difficult to see it in yourself. To a person experiencing a manic episode it often feels like you are actually more mentally well than ever, mania can make you feel fantastic.
