Hi Adam I have just watched your video on saving money on using the hot tub. The hot tub we have has winter insulation all around, an inflatable lid also with all year round insulation so by keeping the heat on constantly keeps the power consumption down considerably. This also means that less chemicals are used as the water isn't heating up and cooling down constantly for use. I was unable to comment on it as it wasn't possible. But informative 👌

Do you notice your electricity go up more in the summer or winter I am a new hot tub owner I wont be setting mine up until spring any information would help thanks a bunch merry Christmas God bless you always
@johnroberts59592 жыл бұрын
@@milothechihuahuabrunetandmommy uses a little more in the winter just on tick over but mine has a winter jacket on it that keeps the heat in more the lid has the same. It will use a lot more when used as the bubble going on cools the water so the heater needs to work more. I wouldn't turn it off like he suggests in his videos as you will use more chemicals to keep it balanced 💯 and you will use a lot of electricity to heat it up the average hottub will take around 15 hours from cold to heat up, this makes no sense to do when on tick over it is instantly ready and electricity usage is minimal to keep it heated to the required temperature set. It will take you about an hour to inflate everything and get it positioned where you want with the floor tiles etc then depending on the water it holds about 4 to 5 hours to fill then 15 ish hours to heat up fully. I got ours done in the afternoon in just 6 hours from getting home from work to filled then it was fully heated by lunchtime the following day in all to heat it fully I think it cost around 45p an hour to heat up that was for 15 hours. During the hotter times it will heat up once maybe twice in 24hrs when unused and in the colder months 2 to 3 times a day it will heat up the time ranges around 30 minutes to an hour depending on the ambient temperature 🌡. I hope this helps a little bit for you. If you can get the 4 in 1 tablets from ebay or amazon chuck a couple in every few days and they will keep the water regulated the only things you will need to track is the PH levels and add or minus the water and once a week add a small amount of antifoam to the water

@@lejeuvideo ohhhh, forgot about this post/comment. lol Well, no. I didn't keep it. It came all banged up and damaged via mail. The shop said "nah it's fine", so I fired her up. It ran for about 10 minutes, turned it off and found metal shards and a few small springs in the water. Sent it back for a refund. They offered me a new, but I just didn't want to take the risk buying from them again. I would 100% buy the same product again, it was a great kit. Solid and easy to setup. But not from that website due to the awful shipping .They just sent it in the original box, which has zero protection. Just the tub wrapped in a simple cardboard box. But sadly here in my country it seems like MSPA is only a web based shop and only them sell it. So....ah well.

This tub, like most inflatable hot tubs, does not have seats as such. The floor of the hot tub is padded and quite comfortable. Having fixed seats is tubs is a mixed blessing. While they add a little extra comfort, they raise you out of the water. Personally, I prefer it coming up to my neck rather than my chest.
