A little late, but I just found this video. Such a beautiful area. I am McDonald by birth and Ramsey by marriage. The Sc highlands are My ancestral home And I see you have been through Glenn Co. . Do you know the story of Glenn Co and the slaughter of a branch of the Mcdonald clan?

@@AdamandMadalyn I am part of clan Donald. DNA haploid group RM 269. I lost track of my Scottish ancestors back in the time of king James. When many fled from Scotland to Ireland, and then into Canada. Some Scottish people were just packed up by order of the kings and shipped out of Scotland, whether they wanted to go or not. I I do remember my father telling me how our ancestors would come down from the highlands at night to appropriate (steal) cattle,sheep and crops from the lowland clans. However, I have traced a lot of my ancestry to multiple mayflower passengers.

My perants use to say they would through me in the Crinan canal so i would find a husband, i can't swim, i could see the flaw in there plan. My mother is a MaDonald and i'm Lamont, so i'm from the most masicard clan and the 3rd most masicard clan. My crest is a red hand because there was a boat race to win some land, we were loosing so a guy on the boat cut his hand off and threw it on the land, we wone the land.
