That pigeon from thumbnail looks a lot like one of my babies, except that one has even less grey and more random light browns and whites. Her dad is white Czech racer, and I suspect his white is not even recessive white in nature, since it's very sticky (his daughter is mostly white and the grandson as well, even though his dad has nothing to do with white at all). Probably some mix of pied, grizzle, spread and reduced on ash red, I assume. Anyway, awesome birds you got!

Hi Adam that's a bit of a crazy situation, with the birds going missing,I'd start locking 🔐 the loft up, at least you got 2 of the 3 back, they are your golden ringers so hopefully they'll show there qualities race day👍🤞👍, 🇮🇪 DUBLIN🇮🇪

Did you lose your birds when loft flying or did they just disappear from the loft? I will be following with interest your Opal project for next year. Wishing you and yours a safe and joyous Christmas and thankyou for sharing your passion with all your subscribers.

Would you know any lofts to visit in perth on here on hoilday from New Zealand and also race there too. I'm a young flier and want to see what style of racing they do in perth. Thanks Adam

I know you don't really answer questions but I thought maybe if you had time you might show in a video please Adam? I notice your flying section are all mixed sexes and ages, which is great its a new approach iv been trying recently due to lack of room. I think the pigeons seem more content and I hear a few select top flyers fly like this on natural. My question is how much and what are you feeding and how are you getting them to loft fly so well at home?? I'm happy if my pigeons are happy and they do return from road training, but I'd love them to loft fly like yours do, they haven't done really more than 30mins for a few months and iv previously had them at it for hours. Just thought seeing your take on rearing, weaning, training, feeding and detail about your system might help improve mine and others, thank you.

The way I fly with mixed ages and sexes to the perch is the most common way of flying in Australia, where we race in the winter. Overseas where racing is in summer things are very different. Racing starts in May and I won't be doing any real flying and training until March when they're mostly through the moult. I will film the flying when its happening.

@@AdamArcherPigeons thanks for info. Do you think system could work in UK, provided you road train YB and OBs separate, but kept the ages and sexes mixed for housing and loft flying? Thank you.

Hi Adam, can recessive reds produce a yellow without the yellow gene in their blood line
@AdamArcherPigeons22 күн бұрын
There is no yellow gene. "Yellow" is the combination of a red gene (ash red or recessive red) with dilute, and you cannot produce a yellow without both required genes.
