It did raise red flags for me…someone from that town knew when they went in that store exactly where to put that Mr. tooled wallet where people would think he’d been… somebody had to have murdered him & dumped him & his car, & I pray there’s evidence on the wallet as to who killed him…and they catch his killer …

You could also check with the historical society to see how high the water was back then. They may even have info on where old boat ramps were and where gaurd rails may not have been. Lot of research on the area can help narrow the search area down.

I once went pulled into a store parking lot, parked and immediately upon opening my car door spotted a wallet on the ground. I took it into the store and staff looked inside. Very small town and the wallet belonged to a local person. Have to wonder why someone would find a wallet and not take action to return it to the owner asap.

I use that boat ramp in Gordon all the time. I always thought it would be the perfect place for someone to dump a car. It's so steep and the water's plenty deep. When I first got my garmin that's the first place I looked.
