Mines dead quiet, supercharged, stock intake and exhaust. But I did drive right by a cop on the highway doing a little over 125mph once, and he didn't notice me. Could only slow down to 90 as I passed him! Thought I was gonna get arrested. That solidified my decision to keep it quiet!

It's very annoying how there's no middle term when it comes to how they sound, they either have a nice exhaust sound or have an absolute terrible raspy farty noise. People should get over the Honda hate tho since they have really good power for their displacement while staying very reliable and revving to the moon and back, not only that but they can be easily modified to make really impressive power numbers. Yes I'm probably not the right person to say this since I own a B16 Honda shitbox but that same shitbox had independent suspension all around and revs to 8200 rpm from the factory 😁.

Horsepower is nothing without torque..... and there's not much of that to be found at 8000rpm in first gear......

@@Wrx_ibz No point arguing with someone who clearly hates Honda's and generalizes too much, yes they don't have a lot of torque but that doesn't mean that they are all that slow, specially considering their displacement it's not like they have a lot of weight to begin with. There's also more to a car than just numbers and these little hatchbacks drive really well and are a lot of fun. If you don't like how they sound it's your problem. In regards to your other comment yes you can add a turbocharger to most engines but good luck finding a 1.6 engine that can get 300 hp without having to tear it all apart to do internals, that's literally 187hp per lt in a normal Civic. If you don't want to go the Civic route you can go look at the s2000 and for how much they sell nowadays, I wonder why is that... If you are American I'm sure you can find a 8.7 liter engine at all gas stations making a whopping 270 hp and 400 nm of torque. And let's not get started on the chassis's that are really good for front wheel drive cars and can compete with much more powerful cars with the right setup. Have I told you about VTEC and how it was one of the first reliable systems of variable valve lift, have you heard a car with it locked, that would give you an idea of how big is the high profile came. I can go for hours and hours how great this shitboxes are it's not the cars fault that they are cheap and reliable making them a great test mule for not so bright teenagers.

@@andrepower6 considering there's no point arguing, that was quite a lengthy response! Thankfully I'm not American... nobody needs that! As for displacement... check back through time, there's plenty of smaller displacement cars that would spank a type Rice. Pootube is full of videos of 'vtec gaps a ferrari' videos.... great, yes they can be made quick, but let's face facts here, as standard a type r really is a poor car. Given the kerb weight of an ep3, take it's power to weight ratio and compare it like for like with comparable vehicles and it starts getting a bit embarrassing for you. By the time the factory Honda is (and always will be) bounced off its limiter in first and second gear, everyone else is already half way home and the Honda's just about moved and gathering a crowd of annoyed pensioners wondering if the 'poor young lad' is breaking down. Then, they all get in their Honda Jazz's and overtake said yoof at the giddy heights of 15mph and wonder why his front wheels are making all that smoke, and saying my my Doris doesn't that car make a really funny noise.... Then later that evening whilst Arthur and Doris are relaxing with a nice Horlicks and settling down to watch Emerdale, big man ting in his type r might just have pulled 3rd gear, and that's when the wheelspin stops and the mobile phones turn away to record disinterested people on a bus.....
