As a Stepmom to 2 grown Sons, I can say that my biggest regret is not allowing myself to be more affectionate; more like their Mom because I didn't want them to ever resent me for trying to take their Mother's place. My heart was in the right place but in practice I could've done a lot better.

On the Citizen Kane thing, I am a story guy (just education and work to a large extent), studied film as a hobby, and I never got the Citizen Cane thing, but a good buddy of mine (RIP) went to film school, worked in the industry but became disillusioned with it, but he explained all the techniques used in that movie, which were insane at the time, like to have things in focus in the foreground and background at the same time, the lighting, all this stuff. So, when he explained the technical stuff, it made sense, but it wasn't something I would have ever picked up on just watching it for the stroytelling. It's a little like looking at Adam's car stuff and going, "Oh, driving fast looks cool," versus knowing how the car works (which I don't).

Ok, if we're getting all down to the brass tacks of authenticity, in Mexico proper, it's mostly corn tortillas, but they also have the flour ones (especially saw that more up north), especially for quesadillas, which ok, aren't tacos. I don't think they're bad or inauthentic, just that your standard is the corn tortilla in the traditional Mexican sense.

100% with Tony on this one. While I think F1 drivers are good, the amount of technological assists they have makes it extremely boring to watch, and I think it creates weak drivers. I'll take IndyCar over F1 any day, but they are moving into the "hybrid era" and it pisses me off. It's hard to be a race fan, and it's hard to get kids interested because the drivers are never the story anymore.

You're literally wrong. Dyslexia means you have a problem telling apart letters with similar shapes, such as “d” and “b” or “p” and “q.” It is a learning disorder that affects reading and language skills.
