Took care of my mom for 13 years she had dementia and a kangaroo that’s a feeding tube. She passed away December 2, 2023. I miss her every day after she passed away. I took up knife, throwing big big-time. got a lot of frustrations out that way.

The longest Ive ever been able to reliably throw no spin or half spin was just under 10 meters. I couldn't get any farther back where I used to throw but it also seemed to be my limit. some day I'll set up another target but it's been a while.

This is an amazing video, brother. The only explanation and tips a newer thrower would ever need, really, are in this video. 😁👏👏🤝 For myself, even with very lightweight shuriken (30g, let's say)... I continue to do the same squeezing and pushing type of grip, with the wave/whip cracking technique, at 9 meters, that I use at closer distances. That said... I'm not sure that I've ever tried to throw from farther than 9 meters. haha But I could see where this pushing technique would come in handy, from further away. Suzuki Sensei's Mumyou Ryu used this technique, right? 🙂👍👍

Thanks for the tips and video. I was asking you about it. Are you going to try and beat the world record again. Thanks so much for what you do. So I didn't know about the push 16ft or 4 meters no spin over hand. My underhand no spin is like 25ft. But if I throw half spin instinctive it's 68 ft one rotation I am not sure I would imagine pretty far I am already throwing half the world record at half but I am out of room to go further and I can't use the neighbors yard because of the power lines but she said I could she is so sweet little old lady.
