Very deep that only serious practitioners of internal systems would comprehend and be in the present moment whatever the situation. Thank you, Sifu.

The first 9 minutes described exactly what I've been going through since I "woke up" we'll say and started approaching life one problem at a time. Rage or confidence. This was great.

Like Adam, I have Chinese genes, and I also practice Wing Chun (😬 not much lately..) And that means we have seen the different approaches in education for when you are a tot of two cultures. Confidence... Confidence is a thing you develop by overcoming "obstacles". I see those as "challenges" Being stressed, more than recommended maximum... I had that chronic condition, it caused me gastritis, I felt like not wanting to get out of bed. Anxiety or panic attacks, weight loss, insomnia, 😬 Remembering it stressed me a little. 😳 Oh no, you are going to Hurt your friend again, sifu... Only a fool says not feeling fear. Fearless ppl die first... Courage, it's of course you do the right thing BECAUSE IT'S THE RIGHT THING tho you are very scared let's say, pushers in your 'hood.. Of course they are counting on scaring people off, and Kids will have that crap, druqkz anyway, ppl say. Anger is not good. Repressed negative emotions are most unhealthy. Fighting.. 🤔 It's too different as a sport than on the streets. Internal stuff. Chi kung or Qi gong, you learn how to breathe in a correct way. You expand one side of your thorax, the air, the qi can be felt like the 🤔 I don't know how to describe it, but it's just breathing, Most occidental people never get the knowledge of how to do it. Qi gong helps a lot to calm down and managing stress is a whole "martial art" itself. Qi gong, we did that before beginning siu lim tao, which in itself is like qi gong, like chi sao, when you practice lots, you get that touch sensitivity, and reactions to the little movement are almost automatic. You are more aware of your body. Like the Chinese arts of letting go, not only to use opponent's momentum to your advantage, it's the same when meditating. Thoughts and feelings appear, you have to let them go. They are there, but they are not important. And when going to bed, relaxing every limb, like consciously letting them go.. 🤔 It's not easy to explain and it seems like "magic". I don't know, I learned those things when 🤔😳 Where's my suanpan? Two, three multipliers, 5 5... 🤔 😬 I learned chi kung and wing chun when I was 1/3 my current age 😬 I'm old

Sifu Adam, I know you've mentioned before that you practice standing/still Qigong. Would you be able to go into detail in a future episode about how you go about practicing Qigong...what you do, what you think about, how you breathe, etc?

Thing here is that Chinese descendants who got the culture since we were babies, and watch it, get those things much easier than an adult. Like the language, it's very different, they are ideas, not words made of "nonsensical" symbols, 人 (man) 🙃 🤓
