Passenger rides in an AMG sadly not, I'd love to do it a lot more often, but I teach a lot of people, usually in something slower, around a pretty private track in the UK, and i do a lot of coaching on the side of my racing too.

Hi Adam. Must be awesome to drive that track. I've done the AMG driving courses here in South Africa. It's amazing to drive them. I've done it in 2015,2016,2017 and we want to do it in 2020 again. It just give you that extra confidence of car control on the roads. My son normally does it with me. Regards

Great lap! How different does the GT3 TC feel compared to the one in the GTR?

Lukas Müller it’s hard to compare, one is made for comfort, luxury and civilisation, and the other one is a monster, no comfort, just reliability, speed and savageness, saying that the power in the road car is more than what we’re allowed in the race car, and it’s top speed is also greater due to less drag.

Alex Vega yes exactly, it’s got about 525bhp but it’s 400kg lighter. In racing terms a full tank of fuel, 80kg is about 1 - 1.2 seconds a lap slower on a normal size track, so 400kg’s is a huge advantage.

How different is this to drive without all the aeros, compared to your gt3 race car?

MUZAMMILdesign in some ways it’s really close but in other ways it’s completely different. With the slick tyres and huge rear wing on the AMG GT3 race car it makes it a hell of a lot more stable, funnily enough in the race car we have to run steel brakes, which are heavier and probably not quite as good as the Carbon ones on the road car. The road car has more power and a higher top speed due to less drag, but the race car accelerates and corners quicker as it’s 400kg lighter. The Road going GTR is a real beast of a car, but no road car can compete against its GT3 race car bigger brother.

That’s because the tyres are cold, the road isn’t as clean as a track and you have a lot more acceleration in 1st and 2nd gear compared to when I’m on the track in higher gears.
