1980 was the year Family Feud debuted in the UK, but the original host Bob Monkhouse, who acquired the rights, named it Family Fortunes as he apparently thought the name 'Family Feud' was too aggressive. We only ever used a computerised board to display answers, which Bob called 'Mr. Babbage'. In 1987 the board was multicoloured, funnily enough, but was unpopular and too expensive to maintain and so was replaced.

This episode aired before the Dickney family appeared, which can be found on your channel. There is an episode with the Morast family playing against the Reichner family, and the episode is an Original Broadcast.

Richard said "I like people who are agreeable." I am sure he said this because of the man from the other family who insisted he said "under the furniture." But what he really said was "under the table" which is not the same as what the other family said "under the bed." He might have gotten the answer right if he had said "under the furniture" but they still would have instructed him to be more specific. But I will say this...Richard was criticizing how they spoke, which was not to kind. Teasing it okay, but he did tend to make fun of people from the south or those with an unusual accent.
