Only thing missing was a theme song like the touch. Hard to beat the memorable scenes of the 80s movie, but when he was called optimus prime for the 1st time in tf one it was great.

Thank you, Adam, for showing love to Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. A bunch of "culture warrior" channels on KZbin unfairly called this movie woke and a girl boss film, and it sucks the movie didn't do well financially in theaters. Thankfully, it was actually a fantastic movie and a great addition to the Mad Max universe.

Furiosa had no forced feminist propaganda, those people just didn't watch the movie. And the marketing did contribute to the film's flop because barely anyone saw the trailer. I think the problem was the fact that both trailers released at the same time as another big blockbuster trailer that overshadowed the Furiosa trailer. The first trailer released at the same time as the final (and best) trailer for Dune: Part Two and the second trailer release at the same time as the second trailer Godzilla x Kong.

The biggest shock release of 2024 for me was The Firing Squad. It’s about a man who finds God while during his time on death row. It moved me more emotionally than I would have predicted. Did not hear a lot of talk about this film and that’s a bummer because it was really good. Took my #6 spot for the year.

I thought Speak No Evil was surprisingly good, it was pretty basic and predictable, but it was executed very well. Even if you didn't love it, it's worth a watch just because of James McAvoy's completely insane performance.

@@realarniegrape and it was kinda average, but in a good way. Kinda reminds me of Bullet Train, it knew what it was and gave it to you right down the middle. Nothing too complicated.

I enjoyed Sting, but a bigger surprise was a French film called Infested. This film had multiple Spiders doing even grosser things. It's better directed and much scarier. Infested is currently on AMC +.

The one of the two biggest surprises is that Kevin Costner's Horizon was better than I thought it would be. Shame we won't get the whole saga. The next one is the Irish movie "Kneecap" about the real life Northern Irish rappers who rap in Gaelic just to tick off the British in Northern Ireland. The bandmates play themselves in the film and do quite a good job of acting.

The biggest surprise of the year would be Longlegs. I went in expecting it to be overrated because of how annoying the hype is but with those people hyping up the film end up being disappointed, I find it to be one of the more overhated movies of the year. Literally expected it to be overrated and left finding it overhated is insane.

I agree that immaculate was the better film. It also was less than the third the budget even though they pretty much have the same locations. Sydney Sweeny knows how to produce a film.

Barbarian was much better than Late Night. Late Night was essentially watching a 90 minute Halloween-themed episode of Johnny Carson from 1976. Aesthetics were cool but nothing else.

I loved Furiosa. But it bombed at the box office. Hollywood....STOP giving movies a title with a popular character(Mad Max) in it, then that popular character is nowhere to be seen in the movie. Have you learned nothing from the SONY Spider-Man universe movies (none of which feature Spider-Man). Just Stop it already!

I felt the same way about wicked when I saw that first trailer but ended up loving the movie! I think it is one of my favorite movies of 2024. You’re right, Ariana Grande stole the movie!

14:03 Keaton has the exact same amount of screen time (17 minutes) in both films. Sadly this sequel was so so much worse than the OG which is a cemented classic by this point.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga was a great movie. It gave audiences a compelling origin story, great action scenes, numerous cool new and older characters from the Mad Max universe and great acting to name a few of this movies fantastic attributes.
