John was immensely talented. His touch was delicate, expressive, and he made every piece his own. A genius. I had the pleasure of knowing him through my parents who were 2 of the directors of The Ragtime Society (Toronto) of which John was President.

Used to love hearing John Arpin playing piano on Morningside. Can anyone tell me the name of my favourite one of his The.....Ghost? Can't for the life of me remember and it's lovely.
