Thumbs up for teaching me how trading relates to my marriage - "can't even predict my wife's emotions when she wakes up." Hahaha. Will never forget it!

Start with paper trading watching real markets, then gradually move on to a small capital, using it to really learn and refine the craft is really so sensible and good. However, most people get drawn to the roller coaster first. The market is the last place to look for excitement.

You're very correct sir... I don't spend up to 1hr before I catch up to 500pips even on less volatile pairs.. When you even trade everyday, it affects you emotionally/psychologically and also birth greed...

Hi Adam, I love your work and thanks for a great video. 60% return per year on a trading account sounds almost too good to be true.. I'm actually not doubting you that it is possible, but for 1-2 hours per day and applying a combination of skill/experience/mindset, it's amazing that everyone in the world isn't doing this! It is truly eye opening, particularly for index investors who have the mindset that 8-12% per year is great and what they can expect (albeit for no effort). And a curious question about your personal strategy - if you can get 60% per year from a trading account and 15-20% from your investing account, why not just put everything in the trading account..? Even on a risk-adjusted basis and accounting for taxes, I assume the trading account would have a higher sharpe ratio?

If you have never traded and have no past knowledge of options trading, how long do you recommend paper trading once you have taken the course ?
@AdamKhoo2 жыл бұрын
You paper trade until you can make at least consistent profits for at least 3 months

I need 12 hours a day to do all the research and stay on top of current events. The market, economy and stocks are constantly changing. Even Warren Buffet has made bad investments.

So that when you win, your win is twice what you will loose when you do loose in a trade. This way in any ten trades where you win five and loose five. Your results will be a net profit that is given by 10*R.

Is 2% risk considered too high for this method? And having RR of 2.5 instead?
@jamieeaston89712 жыл бұрын
You should be aiming for 3 times your risk minimum then you only need a 33% strike rate to be profitable

60% is too high even Warren Buffett and Soros don't make 60% per annum...if you know traders and investors richer than those two (and they have/had outside money to boost their wealth through fees and a slice of the profits) then please let me know....Maybe Jim Simons have a higher return but they hire 1ks of math pHDs

The markets do not run off supply And demand yes they may from the big players but think of it this way if the demand is greater would that not mean the stop losses are below price so price will trade lower. If this makes sense to you then you can go far in trading if not then sorry I can’t help you
@jamieeaston89712 жыл бұрын
I ain’t BS you it’s all verified I believe what this guy says I respect him but I don’t agree you can’t predict consistently
