Dear Adam, I find you sincere, articulate and very invested in sharing knowledge and far less than the 'hard sellers' on YT. I have a question here - why don't we buy the put at a lower price than 46 - say 44/43 ( put price $1.55/1.30 in the chart) - is it not a better? More premium differential and lower risk of the stock breaking the spread? I am sure there is simple explanation, grateful if you could help us understand

Adam, good classes ! Got two questions: When you cut the loss, will you cut sell put only, or the both legs (sell put + buy put) ? Also, for the "buy call + buy put" trad, when you cut loss , will you close the "buy call" and "buy put" at same time as well ? Thanks advance ,

FOR EXAMPLE IF THE SHARE PRICE IS $145.67 (THAT IS JUST AN EXAMPLE FROM ME.) . AND YOU NOTICE THAT, THE TREND OF THE STOCK IS UPWARD, YOU PICK A PRICE BELOW THE MARKET PRICE SUCH THAT, THE PRICE WILL NOT FALL TO THAT LEVEL. ( THAT IS YOU SELL PUT OPTION), THEN YOU YOU PICK A PRICE ABOVE THE WHAT YOU HAD ALREADY PICKED . (THAT WILL BE YOUR BUY PUT OPTION). THE DIFFERENT GIVES YOU THE BULL PUT SPREAD. AND THAT ALSO REDUCE YOUR COST AS WELL. ALSO NOTE THAT, THIS METHOD CAN ONLY BE GOOD FOR GOOD COMPANY.BASICALLY, THAT IS MY UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT HE IS SAYING. HE ALSO SAID THAT, DO NOT WAIT FOR THE EXPIRATION OF YOUR OPTIONS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PRICE IS FALLING TO THE THE INIATIAL "SELL PUT OPTION". I HOPE I WAS ABLE TO HELP?........

No you don't have to. But if your option expires in the money selling put, you will be assigned 100 of the company shares
