So happy that you found a great example of the STI. Those adjustable dampers have a small knob behind the shifter. My goodness that car is in great shape and has some rare bits on it. Not to mention just not missing a bunch of things is lovely to see. Give her a chance though, the engine has a VERY different center of gravity than vertical engines. It changes the feeling quite a bit

@AdamLZ for the subaru on track/ high G load touge runs the most important thing is oil frothing. Hard cornering will fill the head with oil and leave the sump low in volume. A windage tray, and oil pan can solve the issues. For now though just don't go through corners at very high RPM.

Careful with those hard right handers! Subie's love to starve cylinder 4 of oil under high G force corners - baffled sumps are a must when tracking them! There's an infamous corner at the local track, Hampton Down's which is a hard uphill, banked, right hand corner named "Subie Corner" due to how many EJ's have been lost to it

The Japanese seem like an authentic people. When you (maybe not just me?) typically think of the Japanese you envision calm, quiet,, polite, not very overly emotional (happy or angry) people. But then they step into a high energy atmosphere like one of Adam's drift cars, and the pure excitement and adrenaline, mixed with a touch of fear just pours out with joy and enthusiasm with laughs, giggles and some "I just pee'd a little" screams 🤣👍
