@Knoxs yeah he definitely should stick with the jz as that is what he likes. However he currently doesn’t have any spare 2jz (I think) and his current jz is having some issues. So I doubt he would do this, but it is possible that he will put a V8 into his S15. Meaning he will have a chassis that will possibly be engineless, so it would be opportune for him to take advantage of it and try out a V8. But I doubt it. He will probably stick with a 2jz. So proud of all of you! I really, really don't want to say this because I'm a Silvia purist, but I think a left-hand drive conversion for next year would be appropriate since it levels the playing field with all the other drivers being LHD except for our JP bros Masuyama and Taguchi. Also think the 2J needs to be destroked to 3.2 or even just the stock 3.0 bottom end, and obviously it's gonna get a dry sump system.

Lot of JZ issues this time around FD. So when are you going to do that Nissan justice and slap a billet 1300hp RB30 in that thing?
@FUCK_________googIe4 жыл бұрын
He's already having catastrophic oiling issues i highly doubt he's trying to deal with more
@Banzaj334 жыл бұрын
@austin there are plenty of proven fixes for that particular issue with the RB. People are running 2000hp+ on these things as a daily racecar. Detuned you could beat on them like nothing else
@aussiebattler964 жыл бұрын
@@Banzaj33 would rather see him run a barra less issues and proven to handle 1000+ with studs, sripings and boost, can beat on them for ages before they even think about popping.

What about TB48 buffest Nissan Inline 6
@FUCK_________googIe4 жыл бұрын
@@emanh4keem_san420 He's not going to change motors, that would be dumb as shit. The issues he is having is not the fault of the motor design, it's adam's and his team's fault for not properly provisioning his oiling system. Almost every other FD driver runs a dry sump or AT LEAST an accusump and when adam finally goes dry sump it will eliminate every oiling issue he has. I can not believe how many people are telling him to switch power solutions as if switching to a new motor that he has zero experience with would yield him better and more reliable results. Because the opposite would happen, he would end up with weeks if not months more of the teething issues that inevitably come with a new powertrain. It's painfully obvious how many people in here don't compete and probably don't even drive. Just some 18 year old armchair pit crew chiefs that think spending 20 thousand dollars to switch up to a new and completely different engine setup is a good idea. It is not

I just finished watching the first run in this video, the one with Matt Field following you and it is a day and night difference with how confident you are in that car now! Good job dude you had a great rookie season in PRO1 cant wait to see more of it next year!

Start having two fully built engines made. Keep a third you clearly need it. Borrowing a car then running down on power so much. Commit and go for it or keep cutting yourself short
@ijgdjvjd29984 жыл бұрын
Or just run a dry sump ls and never worry, plus not have the slowest pro1 car anymore.

ijgd jvjd agree on the LS. Dry sump doesn't mean it won't fail though. Plenty of LS engines fail my LSX did

Getting a LHD car won’t help that🤣 only at some tracks, while at others he will have the advantage. It’s 50/50
@dariok91184 жыл бұрын
How would a LHD car change that? It would only change to his favor if the Courses only would have curves to the right
@davidkelley7514 жыл бұрын
Bro it happens to LHD cars to. RHD only sucks at certain times, but other than those couple times it can be an advantage. Adam knew it might be an issue. Plus building a whole another FD pro 1 spec drift car isn’t exactly cheap.

Congratz Adam, I really hope you will decide to have another go at PRO next year. I know its expensive, and its hard when others doubt you, but we love you and you and most importantly your team did more than ever expected. Please, take a break, give a break to your guys and we will see you next time :)
