I have always wanted to own my own business. I've wanted to for a year or two now and at the young age I am now being in highschool this is the time to either make my dreams come true or ditch the plan. I want to own a graphic design business to sell stickers, tshirts, and hoodies (maybe more!) but the only thing. the ONLY... thing making me think it's not possible is I don't think it would be something I could live off of. I don't think anyone would actually want to buy from me. What should I do!? -Follow my dreams and take the chance of people not liking my stuff (even after a year or two of building up) Or, - make my dream a small a secondary small job and get a normal job to live off of.

id say it would be down to the type of shop/garage you apply to work for like if you want to work or cars like 240's or s15's ect... then id recommend applying for some performance or drift shops/garages. but all of these do require a base knowledge or cars so you would most likely still need to do mechanics course id of thought (are you from the uk or us?) I'm from the uk so I don't know if its different over there

Is not the answer to life because life isn't about money. I guess I am the only one that doesn't make life about goals and things to do, I hate that about our global capitalist culture. That's why I enjoy watching cats and other animals doing their thing and I always look at them to remind myself what I'm doing wrong. They just live what it is, and don't have plans or things to do, they don't need desire to become anything. If they could talk it wouldn't be a long boring conversation about their dreams and all that bullshit as with a person. I know the comparison doesn't make sense because they can't think or use their minds, but that's where the key is. I'm finishing my second MTB wich take me more like a year of saving money and is what you could call a dream, but that's just bullshit, riding that bike or not I'm still the same and doesn't make me better, happier and for sure doesn't make life good. Sorry for the boring comment, I just hate our culture of goals and things to do expecting that in order to have a good life we got to accomplish things.

Adam you have done yourself a great service and kept your head straight and focused. Not enough of the younger crowd seem to put enough focus into their future even 5 years out that is scary. I applaud you for giving props to your wonderful wife Nicole that seems to really support your moves in live. Be sure to continue giving her props as you succeed further. Recently you had a video where you mentioned that Nicole and you were having a fight. Big or small fights happen and are normal. Why married folks fight can be a million reasons, but being married for 20 years myself I give you this advice to reduce your pain in some of those fights. Ask yourself if you want to be right or want to be happy. Yes, that means you have to give in sometimes and let her be right, to keep the piece. Keep up the great work.

Hey Adam the truck you should get is a ford f 150 3.5 ecoboost. It is a great truck and it will haul your 240sx around no problem. It gets great fuel economy. Even up to 30 mpg for short bursts! It makes 365 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque out of a 3.5 liter v6. It makes more hp than Ford's 5.0 liter v8. The ecoboost gives the 3.5 liter twin turbos which gives it all that torque and some turbo spool 😀. It is a reliable truck that can tow 11,300 pounds. It tows my dad's 27 foot center console boat anywhere. I highly recommend this truck as it is very equipped and high quality.

Adam, thank you so much for this video. I don't normally comment on things but I have been really needing to hear something like this lately. In may of 2016 I was 3 years through an electrical apprenticeship which I quit to start a business degree because I wanted to take a different direction in life. That was not an easy transition and a lot of people thought I made the wrong decision. 4 months ago I had a really bad landing and I snapped my ACL meaning I now cant do any form of exercise that I would normally be doing (BMX or tricking), I need surgery then months and months of rehab before Ill be able to do anything again. Due to the injury my motivation to move towards my goals in any capacity has been pretty much destroyed lately and my lack of motivation is causing me a lot of anxiety which just made the lack of motivation worse. This video really put some things back into perspective for me, keep doing your thing man. Thank you.

Started as an electrical engineering major, hated it, switched to business, hated, then I went to a tech school for Power Generation which basically is servicing and troubleshooting large commercial generators and I love it. Don't settle on one thing you can find something you love this goes for everyone. CONGRATS Adam keep up the great work. I got 3 semesters left can't wait to get out in the work force!

Adam, as far as the youtube landscape is concerned, you are an excellent role model. Truly kudos to you. Many KZbinrs drop out of college to continue KZbin. To me, it was very smart for you to continue college (That is not saying college is needed). You really are a good example for younger kids persevering through the tough times and constantly challenging yourself. Not only will your education benefit you with growing your business, but later in life, you may find even more benefit to your degree. It will help you remain financially responsible and give you something to reference constantly throughout life.
