I hope people realize that this season is a learning curve for Adam. As a fan, I don't expect him to do well this season but it is a hope. I am glad he is getting seat time but what I am hopeful for is next season.

Yeah, it's just common sense and he's doing pretty good for a first timer. But there are people that don't understand "a learning curve" and either think he's trash or super good (yes man style). Or there are the sarcastic ones who always trash talk just so the fans stfu, cuz it do be getting annoying trying to interact in the chat, so you gotta see it from different perspectives.

Dude Adam's self ownership is great and definitely hope he keeps what Vaughn and Chelsea are saying forefront and just keeps moving forward as he's been doing. Everyone acts like he should be winning right out the gate but that's so dismissive of all the top notch competition in FD. He's got a lot of skill and so do they just going to take time getting used to the mustang and learning the little minutia of the chassis

Honestly, this past weekend was some of the best driving I’ve seen out of pretty much every driver, everyone stepped it up and it’s crazy to see the level of competition right now, Adam didn’t get knocked out due to some huge mistake, it was one small mistake that is made by pros aswell, look at last year to now and see how far he’s come, insane, I’ve never been this into FD until this year because everyone is starting to step it up and it’s rad!!

That mustang is so clean. I think what I like most about racing that I learned from driving simulators is that it doesn't matter what you're racing, it's always a challenge of a different sort. From the very delayed consequences of decisions made trying to get the best time in an econobox, to managing and timing your tires on high powered vehicles. I love cars, but I mostly just like to look at them. Racing is a lot of time and effort.

When you're on a quasi-factory team with championship caliber equipment, it's a whole different kind of pressure. LZ has a lot of fun with competition, but I think part of the learning curve is getting the focus in at all times. I don't think he's in the car just to sell merch, so eventually the results will come. I think he'll get there.

A few years ago, a guy here in New Zealand went racing. Bent a few cars and won a few races. He got told by a mate to think about where you are on the track and what you want the car to do. he took a back step and took this in and changed his style. he started winning more and bending less. He ended up building his own cars that suited his style of driving. Moved to the UK and built a few more cars, his name was Bruce McLaren. The McLaren emblem is actually a Kiwi.

I think you need to pick up the same year model Mustang 5.0 for the grassroots comps you attend. I know it won't drive or feel like anything close to the actual comp car, but at least it'll get you way more familiar with the car overall. Or ask Vaughn if you can use the Demo car for grass roots events like Klutch Kickers. And I'm sure RTR and Ford would appreciate it more as well.

RTR demo cars are not fast enough for Klutch Kickers. LZ said so in his video. They would have to build a whole new car for it. Chelsea has set up the RTR cars to drive more like E36’s as well. This is not a seat time problem, all the drivers get not many runs in their pro cars, it’s just going to take a season or two to bed in to a new team. Chelsea had the same moving from his own team to RTR. Winning any motorsport at a top level is hard, it’s not just about your car/practice, there is a huge mental game to get into as well.
@duanebailey6253
@duanebailey6253 2 жыл бұрын
@@foamdataservices You went in a circle. Saying he needs seat time but the cars drive the same. Even if it's the same chasis underneath you need time to learn the body. Let's also throw in a completely diffrent engine without a turbo. Just looked super odd saying he wasn't gonna follow close than being happy with the run. Hope it's just from being a super hard course's and he's able to go rounds and get more seat time in the next few events.

Atlanta seemed to be a pretty tough track for most drivers this past weekend. Lots of drivers spinning out, dropping 2, 3, or even 4 tires, outside zone 2 seems like it was difficult to hit very well right after outside zone 1, and it just all around seemed to make even the best drivers struggle. With this year being a huge learning curve for Adam, I don’t expect to see him win much, but he’s really starting to whip that RTR mustang like a boss! Can’t wait to see what happens in Orlando!!
