AMTV Channels Are CLOSING DOWN

Thank you to everyone to all of the lovely words of support ✨️ as stated, this wasn't a decision that I took lightly, but I do feel that it is the right one to make ✨️ as to whether NOW or Doctor Who content will appear on this main channel, I'm still thinking about that, I may even run a poll to put it to you all! In the meantime, this main channel is NOT going anywhere!

For your sister channels, why not make a video to tell people that the channels are closed and the channels are staying up so you can watch the old videos?

I honestly prefer the channels still being up, just those being inactive; instead of deleting them. For preservation purposes. It is sad to see those channels becoming inactive but with the reasons given, I do understand the whys. Especially the AMTV Now one. I REALLY understood your point from experience. As someone autistic, I do get special interests that come and eventually go. There will be moments where a Special interest doesn't bring me as much joy as before. I still enjoy those, but not to the same way as before, while also getting more interested in other topics or media. Repeating, I prefer the YT channels becoming inactive but still up, for preservation purposes. But that's my opinion. Wishing you the best during the next months!

You’re doing a channel 4! 😄 Completely understand and figured you might do this with the main channel TV history type videos doing so well, it makes sense to concentrate on those. First Kerrang TV, and now your NOW channel?! I'm real sorry for you, Adam, especially for your loss of love for the NOW series. NOW 118 had too many short tracks and they clearly would've been able to do the math and add a few more. But no need to worry about me, I'm still receiving those numbered and Yearbook releases despite that. They're also releasing another 5CD 80s album and none of the tracks on there are unique, so it's obvious that I'm skipping that!

Totally understand your decision. You have to put your health and well being and personal wants above all else. Youre doing the right thing. I would like to ask, other running series, like the Doctor Who Viewership series etc, will they be stopping aswell? As they are very high effort for you to produce.

I really enjoyed your now reviews. Thats where l first come across your content. But l agree there are far too many rehashes of rehashes. Now Vault surely the final straw. The Yearbooks are excellent though. You could always keep up the yearbook reviews on the main channel.

I'm kind of glad you're winding down the channels. I wasn't the biggest fan of AMTV Who split, I think you should reupload some of the highlights of AMTV Who and AMTV Now as a goodbye for now similar to when broadcast channels shutdown because no one's truly gone. It would make for a good livestream/premiere.

Adam, I understand what you are saying about NOW. I have no proof of this but I think when they get the rights for a song , NOW has to commit to using that song X-number of times within a period. If this is accurate then it explains why tracks suffer from over use. Best of luck with the new projects :)
