What I think is most interesting is - pewdiepie, who was an adult at that time, saw right through tati and her intentions. Adam & us, who saw this when we were younger, sided with tati - but NOW that we're older... we see right through her. It's is so interesting to see the perspective shift after we've matured - it really presents how our young world view, under developed frontal cortex and critical thinking works to the advantage of these influencers whose demographic is younger people.

Not the first time that Pewdiepie had a little something to say about what some other KZbinrs were doing. He was the nail in Tobuscus’ coffin. Toby absolutely deserved it though. thanks for covering pewds! i was never into the beauty community but i knew about this drama because i watched pewdiepie. i've seen all his videos from late 2018 to now, and iirc, he never covered james getting exposed as an actual predator because he stopped covering drama sometime before. however, i do remember him in a collab (i think with jacksepticeye?) and the both of them threw some shade towards james after his predatory behavior came out.

Very true, as much as I enjoyed and appreciated Felix's content, there are certain things you shouldn't be able to completely come back from. I do believe that people can change, and I feel like he has but I don't keep up with him as much as I used to so I can't tell, I only saw a few vlogs about the pregnancy and such, but I do hope that he has. Said the n-word way too comfortably on a livestream (yes, in a derogatory fashion; now referred to as “the bridge incident”), and 2. Was buying random Fiver services and bought the service of a group of guys (who barely spoke English [if any]) whose service was to write whatever you wanted on a sign and then dance around it and chant it and such - usually used for like funny birthday messages and announcements - but PewDiePie wrote “Death to Jews” thinking they wouldn’t actually do it… but they did. He posted it thinking everyone would find it funny because of how shocking it was, but the reaction was super mixed and got him in some trouble online. Prior to that, he would regularly make Nazi jokes in his videos, so when it happened, the media immediately began calling him antisemitic. He had his KZbin show cancelled and experienced a LOT of backlash. The thing with PewDiePie, however, is that he was sincere in his apologies and took accountability for everything he did - he didn’t make excuses like a lot of KZbinrs do during their apologies - and that’s how he was able to keep his fan base. Even I’ve been a longtime fan and was shocked he was able to bounce back the way that he did.
