To her defense she used to cry about just being a miserable unlovable person (mental meltdown)
@erik76475 ай бұрын
@@shvlamarts Yeah and even when I was a teenager 10+ years ago even if crying about other people I remember she mostly wouldn't directly call out people unless clearly just a bit and not following the typical formate or actually even crying. She has cried to manipulate the audience and she's said so, BUT someone actually having a history of really breaking down online then trolling the same thing in a self destructive grab for attention and views isn't the same thing as what she called tati out for. That still is kinda just a different form of crisis while being messy online, especially as we obviously now know her being more stable in her image (and seemingly life which is nice to see) is way more beneficial for her career. If anything being the self proclaimed icon of crying online kinda makes her more qualified to call out this behaviour

Manic Trisha making the most sense calling out everyones bullshit and reminding us of real problems in 2020 is icing on the cake.
@dotcom30155 ай бұрын
Trisha was just kind of using BLM as a way to deflect from her friend. It’s not like police brutality has stopped, and she and every other influencer just dropped it since 2021. People are capable of multitasking by caring about real life issues as well as talk about drama. Even Trisha in the moment was caring about the drama between Tati and Shane rather than just advocating for blm on its own. It’s just disingenuous to use blm to call someone else out, then to basically forget about it afterwards
@slsthewriter12995 ай бұрын
@@dotcom3015 A huge aspect of what Trisha was doing…is the fact that she was in a manic episode. It's a mental health issue. BPD will latch onto anything, run them to exhaustion, then move on. Obviously, that doesn't excuse just dropping the matter. Of course police brutality was not suddenly resolved and so we've moved on. It's still an issue. However, in context, where everybody is quarantined, all they're hearing is the news, and so you will have people like Trisha whose personality, by nature, is to latch onto things, run them to exhaustion, then move on. *This to say, I don't think her intentions here are inherently disingenuous. She is being genuine here, largely because that's what the environment was perpetuating and BPD people need the environment to bounce off of.
@dotcom30155 ай бұрын
@@slsthewriter1299 she was using the death of a person and multiple real life struggles to defend her friend, many of these same issues except the pandemic existed back when Trisha was crying on the internet herself. She cried when David and Jason were being mean to her but it’s ‘focus on real issues’ when it’s some other white woman on the internet? She was right about david but Tati was also right about James, Shane and Jeffree. It’s just hypocritical that Trisha has done a lot of the same annoying things as Tati, like virtue signaling in this very video. And you may defend it as a bipolar episode, but then there are people here acting like she’s making sense
@slsthewriter12995 ай бұрын
@@dotcom3015 1) Borderline is not bipolar. So already. *No.* 2) What I'm say is, BLM was a huge thing at that point of time, and her *main point* was that Tati, there are worse things happening. Nobody cares about this old drama that was over gummy bears. We're busy talking about actual shit right now. Trisha was fixating on it, because that's on the forefront of her mind, and it's elevated by BPD. She's not being insincere here. It's the timing of it, not the fact that Tati is crying on the internet. And I wouldn't say it's a hypocrisy. Being hypocritical implies a level of "I'm better than you because [blank]." In this video, Trisha says she's done shit herself, the difference being, she doesn't go behind other people's backs. Which was another legitimate criticism to make because so much of Tati's argument before was that she tried to have a conversation behind the scenes, and that was a blatant lie. She actively ignored James. There are absolutely nuances here to appreciate. Even in this video, there's some things I didn't agree with. And, Trisha herself isn't squeaky clean either. But like. Fact of the matter is, sometimes people you don't like say something that is fair. A broken clock is right twice a day. What reason is there to dismiss when they are right?
@dotcom30155 ай бұрын
@@slsthewriter1299 a mistake, sue me. You were the one that emphasized Trisha’s mental illness. I don’t really know about her diagnoses because that’s not part of my argument. I know she’s messy, I know she’s inconsistent, I’ve never expected more from her. I just don’t like when people in general bring up real world issues as a distraction and then is praised for it. There are always more important things happening. That doesnt mean you should bring up someone’s death as a ‘gotcha’ moment. The influencers who only cared about blm for that year didn’t care anymore than Tati did

The "there are more important issues in the world" argument is often used to deflect something. Here Trisha is using it to protect Shane, and Jeffree also used it in his "apology" video in 2020. People *should* be talking about important things in the world of course, but using this excuse when facing unwanted criticism essentially places the blame on the audience/criticiser, like "how dare you call me out when there are more important things in the world". People can focus on many things at the same time. By this logic nothing would ever be called out, because there will always be more important/terrible things to talk about. The question is: would Trisha have called out Tati's silence on blm if Tati wasn't dragging Shane in her video? 🤔

I would love to see you break down Dramageddon 1 too!! I wasn't as involved in the beauty community at that time compared to Dramageddon 2 so honestly I barely even remember what happened and the situation still confuses me lol

trisha did mention that she doesn’t remember much cause she was high through most of it and you can see it with the erratic behavior

18:25 i find it kind of hypocritical for trisha to say there’s more important things to talk about when years later she’s talking about dramageddon but not talking about what’s happening in palestine bc she’s a zionist

Her mind doesn't work the same as yours. She's has different priorities?

Hahahahahaha “how dare you talk about this one thing and not this other thing that i care about. ZIONIST 😡”. Touch grass loser

She’s not a Zionist in fact in one of their videos she was asking about Israel with her husband who is Jewish and she asked if Israel was good or something around those lines and he properly educated her that it’s not and then this January in a podcast she said she’s “team Palestine”. Granted yes she has posted McDonald’s and other places that are supposed to be boycotted but she’s never been the most educated in world affairs it’s like she lives in an influencer bubble. I’m not saying her silence is okay I’m just saying to call her a Zionist which is a really intense term to use with the current climate our world is in could be a reach.
