Glad I've come across your channel. I worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years before changing careers and I worked for all of the high end brands, La Prairie, La Mer and Sisley, who I worked for, for a decade. While I'm not discrediting them in any way, I have to say that the price pf these high end brands are in no way reflective of the quality. You can get skincare that is effective at a fraction of the price. And I have to say, after being a skincare snob for years, the Aldi Caviar cream is actually really really good and my skin is literally glowing as a result. I'm 47.

I always use Aldi Caviar cream, I love it. I use Liz Earls "cleanes and polish" Aldi do a dupe ,so I'm gonna give this a go 👍 . Thanks for the video xx

My boyfriend works for them in the USA, and he was excited to tell me that they are starting to see skincare here too! I dont recognize any of the products you have shown from your Euro Aldi, but they started selling a Lakura face wash, scrub, and a couple different creams. I would be interested in trying it but I'm pretty strictly on the same routine atm to heal my skin troubles. 😊(seems to be going well but I'm very slow to heal)

I bought Aldi's caviar creams: 2 night time, and 1 day time. The only reason I bought the creams is they were reduced from £7.49 to £4.99, and I like trying out new things. Still, I spent almost £15 on face creams that might not suit my skin type.

I was given a sample from my sister and I have to say that the La Prairie caviar nighttime oil is simply fantastic, but WAY too expensive...I would never pay this money for a moisturiser, it's just ridiculous. Aldi's alternative sounds very interesting but a completely different use as it has SPF (day moisturiser). It would be way too heavy to use at night and I personally can't stand SPF moisturisers, they always end up burning my eyes. I just avoid the sun! 🤣

Love your video. Yo have a new subscriber here. That cream in the last 8 years has nearly double its price ( why? ..I guess because they realised the bigger business they could make after watching people believes in miracles was making it more expensive ( like all the range of other high street brands !!) ...more money, so much better) My sister who is 5 years younger than me uses that cream for years and years ...I never saw any improvement in her faces , maybe when you use it you are so hypnotised that you start to see marvellous changes in your skin. I tried a few times and I don't like it, nor the texture , nor the feeling after you apply it. I'm really happy to have found your channel because I'm tired of this people advertising very expensive products when all your money goes for the name , not the quality. If they would be so great , famous people, celebrities, would use this miraculous creams and they would never need to go to the butcher to straight or filled ( with whom knows what) her/ his faces . L'oreal is the owner of so many big brands... Are they going to try to make me believe they used different laboratories for every product they make ... ?? I'm sorry but I don't believe it . I used very affordable face creams, foundations and I stopped buying expensive ones when I realised a mascara of Dior, Helena Rubinstein or Channel was worse than one from essence...same to foundations or blushes ...and is my experience. And I'm 50 and people always has thought I'm younger. Healthy life and food and genetics and looking after you a bit are the secrets.... That’s why I created the purpose of my channel to help people find amazing high quality skincare products that are affordable to everyone. I use the Aldi caviar day and night creams and they’re great - my skin is generally on the drier than oily side though. The Kiehls facial cream dupe they do might be better for you as it’s lighter, but you need to add a separate SPF if using that in the day

when i was your age, i used vaseline and ponds, anything really and my skin was great! Once you hit 50, its a different story, Aldi skincare products just dont cut it - you pay for what you get. Do you think Aldi will use high end ingredients and charge peanuts for it? Think about it......

Hi same for me with soap cool water and vaseline most of the luxury products you pay the marketing nothing to do with the quality Lidl skin cream killed the Chanel and la prairie on a test !

And you don't always get what you pay for tbh some people are just to snobby, and everyone has diffrent skin types, so doesn't work for everyone of course. Each to there own 😉

Not the case at all. Some products are cheaply made and not worth it but there are some amazing products out there with great ingredients in for the price. Just need to research the ingredients to compare them before you buy. This cream has a good match on the Skin school website because the ingredients are so similar. I dont think massive worldwide supermarkets necessarily care about making big bucks on the products when they can make them cheaper and have them selling out quickly. Also plenty people have tested dupes without knowing the brand and assumed its high end, just shows you that high end is just paying for a brand name and just a placebo, we think we are doing whats best for our skin when some products have nearly identical ingredients. Some people would rather throw money down the drain but i know what i’d rather do…
