The picture of 4:11 are you going to build this unit ??? Can you let me know what the heat output will be of the machine Waveguide ?? thanks.

I built this motor, yes (see my later videos), but had no luck generating heat yet.

@@Waveguide Wish you luck with the project. Hope we make it happen too.

You can easily make a Newman motor with this set up to accomplish over unity BEMF spike to power supply, & magnetic torque on the rotor. I'm not sure what principles the Adams motor is trying to accomplish, A leedskalnin design with bucking coils would be something similar. Other than that in terms of super high RPMs, you'd have to see Gerard Morin's washing machine motor WYE wound pulsed DC motor. From my understanding with these projects, it's either Newman machines, pulsed DC High volt motors ( that are not trying to recapture anything ) , or multi phase transformer designs.

Wow cool your new Motor Generator! Which printer do you use to print your parts and which pla or other filament?
@Waveguide
@Waveguide 3 жыл бұрын
I am using an Ender 3 V2 with PLA :-) Super happy with this printer, especially since it is incredibly affordable.

Hi, Nick! Have you measured the inductance of the coils? If so, what is the inductance? Thanks in advance for your reply!
@Waveguide

Hi Alexander, my LCR meter is damaged by the moisture in my workshop, so I can't accurately measure the inductance with that right now. I'll have to use a function generator and oscilloscope instead and find the resonant frequency.

Should the core of the drivecoils not be half of the diameter of the magnets?
@Waveguide
@Waveguide 2 жыл бұрын
In his British patent it is stated that the core should be half the diameter of the magnets indeed, but in this design, measuring from the original pictures I have, it seems closer to 75%.

hmmm try bismuth too if ya can. looking great
@Waveguide
@Waveguide 3 жыл бұрын
I will, as many people have told me this, but the reason I went for lead is because in the 3rd party report I have about this motor it is stated that you HAVE to use lead, and that bismuth won't work. However, I will definitely give bismuth a try if my lead experiments result in nothing.

@@Waveguide whats the plan with the power supply?
@Waveguide
@Waveguide 3 жыл бұрын
@@m3sca1 Adams used mains power to run these motors. So Ideally I would have an isolation transformer > variac > FWBR + smoothing cap as power supply, but to start, I will use my bench power supply, which goes up to 120V.
