thanks for sharing! always exciting to see unexpected results. how high was the voltage? 20kV? The high voltage field might influence the scale measurement? You might see more effect when that high voltage is disruptive discharged like I did in the field propulsion video.
@Waveguide2 күн бұрын
Hi Ivo, the voltage was only 6kV and I placed the capacitor on a 20 cm high styrofoam pillar to make sure the scale isn't influenced. Do you think that is a sufficient distance? Ideally I'd use an analog way to measure the thrust, like IVO Ltd (not related to you 😛) did, but then you need a much larger setup to be able to see any real effect. I will re-watch your field propulsion video and note that this might improve the effect, but for now my goal is to replicate the setup used by Mike McCulloch, the inventor of the Quantised Inertia theory.

I built an Adams motor to his original design without the generator coils but using the star commutator. i found when the commutator closed contact and made the drive circuit there was a small spark and a voltage spike that went back into the drive battery charging it a little. This won't happen with hall effect or optical switching though.

My Dear Friend, I highly appreciate your dedication and enthusiasm on the scientific experiments and I am also a Scientific Experimenter living in Sri Lanka which is a South Asian Country. I did a very comprehensive study about the Robert Adams motor Generator and according to my years of scientifical experience , I believe and trust that it should be a really working device which can produce more output power than the Input while self-charging its drive battery . I just referred to your videos in the waveguide web site and you have tried in every possible way to prove the efficiency of this motor generator while spending so much time and money on this project. But have you ever tried running this motor with a star type mechanical disk communicator ??. This is the most important and specially required part of this motor to achieve the efficiency and the drive battery recharging back effect. Another important fact is, we have to fix some special timing system for obtaining the generator coil output at the right perfect time to avoid the lenz law so that the efficiency of the motor can be achieved. I just watched all your videos of the Robert Adams Motor Generator and I hope you haven’t used any sort of special timing method for obtaining the output of the generator coils in the right time and that is why you could not achieve the expected efficiency of this motor and when you connect the load to the generator coils the RPM of the rotor is decreased rapidly causing the lenz drag. According to Dr. Robert Adams the Generator coils should not be connected to the load till the rotor magnets reach the Top Dead Centre of the laminated cores of the generator coils and when the rotor magnets are just at the top Dead Centre , then the load should be connected for a very short time period and then the output should be disconnected from the coils . Some people can say this is a very mad work but connecting the load to the generator coils at the Top Dead Centre has a very major and special effect as when the rotor magnet approach the generator coils, and when it comes near to the Top Dead Centre , it is the peak level and there is a good peak voltage at that time. So when we connect the load at that time we can get a good strong output and as we quickly disconnect the load after a few time , the lenz law is completely avoided. This is the secret of the Robert Adams motor . So my Friend , I have specially designed a good electronic timing circuit with Transistors , and a Optocoupler for achieving this effect and if you need to know about it please send me an e-mal to [email protected] or reply through this comment section. As you have allocated so much time on the Robert Adams motor I am sure , if you use my special timing circuit for perfect timing of the generator out , you can achieve , what Dr. Robert Adams achieved. I hope you will reply me my friend.

cool! maybe you could add some smoothing capacitors in parallel with your power supply output, like metal film caps that can deliver fast pulses, and that might allow your DC power supply to give an accurate amps reading? I use 2* WIMA MKP10 250V film caps in parallel with my DC power supply to run my oscillator circuit anyway, to handle the fast current spikes. but you've got a working model, optimization is the bread&butter of engineering, so even a 'poor efficiency' is a great result to work from.

Amigo, thank you for sharing this with us all! Have you tried an asymetric design -- can't quite tell if the bottom side foil is same size and shape as the top, so I assume that it is. Make one side disproportionately different in size and, yes, shape influences the effect. Thomas Townsend Brown himself has a patent which reveals the use of cones. Simpler idea is to make one of the tin foil squares half of the size of the other, centering it at so as to make no perpendicular lines between them, in relation to the other foil. square and diamond, in other words. Next, at the heart of Brown's tech was a block -- two groups of interspersed, alternating polarities. Take each tin foil shape and make 20 of them each. separate with a better dielectric -- parafin wax melted upon heavier paper would work if the amount of wax were sufficient to resist the dielectric breakdown of the charge punch-through. Even better would be melting the tinfoil into the wax paper to get the foils closer and tightly together with a clothes iron. Connect each polarity to every other foil, so that you have +,-,+,-,+,-,+ etc. F.

try making the capacitor highly assymetrical, like a flying saucer shape. add a spark gap so your cap can experience scalar emissions and let the arc dissipate in a controlled way instead of cooking your capacitor. lastly add a material that is a silicate mineral. mica is excellent cos it is light, is a partial mirror to microwaves and a mineral with stacked orientaion. you can use the reflector from and microwave magnetron but its aligned wrong. you need to cut it into thing strips and turn them sideways, then sandwich in the capacitor

@badabing78205 ай бұрын
Ok, don't know how far you ve come, or what you know, but the reason, why the short circuit of the secondary coils make it move faster is the slow movement of the magnetic field inside the coils, when you take of electricity. It is like the field stops from changing (not complete). I'd had a design, with long Coils, where the motor speeds up, when i take of energy, because the mgnetic change in the iron was stop and the motor didn't need the same energy, as if you had a complete change in the iron, because of the magnets. So maybe this can help: the secondary coils need a switch and a diode. The switch shortcircuits the coils, until the magnets are on the coils. Right at the moment, the magnets are on the iron, you take of the switch. Other the diode, you need to load the capacitor. You only should take of the energy in one direction, or the coils breaks harder then before, cause of the strong direction change of the magnetic field. At this moment, the coils load the capacitor with back emf and a higher Potential of the input. Try to load the battery and figure out, if you can get more energy, then you put in. Use a battery, to move the motor and for the recharge, so you can find out, if it works.

Potentiometers add resistance which dirty the pulse witdh of the pulse generator. A triggered spark gap tesla hairpin circuit would be a better power supply controlled by flight controller or faster signal generator, and NO transistors or filter coils or resistance elements of any kind can be in the circuit. Since switching abrupt power like this is so hard, you may even need multiple power supplies (either all tesla hairpin circuts with vortex coil quenched triggered spark gaps, or it would be some quenched triggered spark gap version of a half bridge SMPS).
