He even added that the Miss Universe Nigerian contestants were in agreement with the invitation extended to Chidimma joining the pageantry. VDM couldn’t wait to hear from the organizers before polluting the internet. I like when he calls out fake pastors but saying what he said about this Nigerian especially considering the circumstances and controversies around her in recent time is definitely where I draw the line for me. I am from South Africa, proud of Chidimma courage to come considering everything that is going on around her. But if I can be frank ,I dont agree with the Nigerian Organizers of this pageant , this was a very immature emotional decision. The reason I say so is because on merit Chidima even if she wanted to enter Miss Nigeria she would not have qualified because of she has a child and is a divorcee and these two conditions are grounds for disqualification in Nigeria. Yes in South Africa because they are doing this inclusivity bs she could enter. Now if she wins in Nigeria what does that mean, are they now going to accommodate single mothers in future Miss Nigeria competition. If they dont then it makes this competition a fraud and based on favoritism. South Africa will still claim that they created the smart brains that enabled her to win. She should have appreciated the offer and then declined due to perceptions of unfairness that this would create for the already qualified Nigerian contestant. But rather go to the pageant and show support, this would have made her into an icon. Just my thoughts, now she appears like an opportunist knowing that on merit she doesn't qualify. If she wins and this drama with her mother escalates it will follow her. Can you imagine the headlines, THE MISS NIGERIA 2024 WHO WAS A FINALIST IN MISS SOUTH AFRICA BUT DROPED OUT DUE TO CITIZENSHIP FRAUD ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HER MOTHER , WHICH PUT TO SPOT LIGHT HER CITIZENSHIP.
