I put this on pause and brought up Sinatra, Bublé, Streisand, Fitzgerald and Vaughan's version of this song to compare it to AJ version, and none of them moved me like this version. It is so hard to comprehend that Angelina from 7 to 16 is the greatest story telling being in my 74 years of experiencing great vocalist and I can't wait for the rest of the story.

Larry, Sarah Vaughn, is the single GREATEST female voice of the 20th century...that being said, Angelina moved me more as well. I didn't get to hear Charlie Parker,Miles Davis,John Coltrane, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Betty Carter, Frank Sinatra or Ella...but I'm damn sure not going to miss my opportunity to hear, Angelina.

Angelina has an amazing musical signature. This is something you are blessed with from birth. She has it in spades. Her version blows many other versions out of the water. The other thing that amazes me about her, is her ability to make each song and absolute stellar performance. Her ability to capture your attention, mind body and soul is absolutely awesome. I cant think of anyone who fits the bill. Dont get me wrong there are many great artists but i cant think of anyone that has her sound....her nuances...her incredible interpretations of songs....Im so looking forward to her doing great songs that wont be covers..but will be either her original material...or songs written for her by great songwriters....I can hardly wait...Its so exciting to find this absolute diamond.....thank you Adam

This is the best rendition of My Funny Valentine that I've ever heard of and still can't get enough of it... Angelina Jordan has turned into a goddess of beauty and her voice is so hypnotic, soothing, and so captivating. I can't wait to see her perform live on her July 10th concert in Sandefjord, Norway. I just bought 2 tickets for my sister and me...my sister and I have just retired, so we are treating ourselves with unforgettable experience. We'll see you AJ and your "angels" in July. God willing.

Nice job, Adam. It is impossible to describe Angelina's vocal artistry as she seamlessly and effortlessly moves from light to heavy, from laid back to intense, and from breathy to belt, and then back again. It is as though she can, with her voice, drive a nail with a feather or dance a hippopotamus on the head of a pin. She simply does what others either can't or never try.

This song gives me chills every time around: it so smooth and it delicately dances around with the occasional push of force, true to the song it makes me smile with my heart. Her artistry still grows and develops at an incredible rate. She just gets better and better. She takes us back to an older time when my parents were still young, TV were paper sized and B&W and people danced on TV.

Angelina applies her jazz style and superior vocal range to the song, but she brings into play the 'breathy', 'sensual' releases she learned from Billie Holiday. Then she adds the 'raw' inflections like 'slurring' and changing 'key' in mid-sentence that Amy Winehouse was known for. The result is an intricate, complex presentation that sounds like three superstar jazz singers are performing the song. Have never heard another singer duplicate this 'vocal chameleon' ability she possesses to bring in vocal sound and style by other singers anytime she wants to. Also, she just looks like a 'Persian Princess' with penetrating eyes and beautiful long hair that just makes me melt.

One thing about Angelina that many lack .... You will always FEEL her heart and passion for music in everything she does. She has made a dramatic turn in the past several months, this piece takes me back to the "Rat Pack" days when "Singers sang" When one could sit and listen to the beauty of the voice. If I am not mistaken this was a Sinatra cover sooo ya might wanna add his works to the list of.... "No one sings _______ like Angelina". (actually, she pays homage to the original artist but at the same time recreates the work in her own style) She will definitely be remembered in the vocal/music industry for many many many years to come. She is a PURE artist. This was a Masterful piece from a very classy young woman.

Imagine this masterfully performed rendition of a jazz classic being sung by a 16 year old girl! Just perfectly executed whit finess, sofisricatin, sensuality, musical dramaturgi and all the other superlatives the dictionary has to offer. Guessing how good she will be at 26 yo, if and when her development continues in the same pace it has done until now, is just not possible. I can't wait for her albums begin to drop. I really would like a crooner album from Angelina. In addition to originals of course. We are a lucky few who get to go to Angelina Jordan conserts in Norway this summer. The opening chorus can be found on Ella Fitzgerald's "Essential Ella" album's '"My Funny Valentine". I'm hoping that Angelina's voice will gain the richness in Ella's.

Good to have you back Adam. There have been many great versions of this classic song, but for me this topped them all. Sheer perfection, chock full of beautiful little surprises. I didn't think she could exceed my expectations after following her all these years, but she did. We have been predicting that she was going to be great, but I swear she is going beyond that. In this genre of music I can't think of anyone else in her class, maybe Frank Sinatra. You mentioned her runs, if you are looking for a real mind-blower, listen to her Instagram cover of House of the Rising Sun, accompanying herself on electric guitar, apparently at 5AM. It's just a taste, less than two minutes but pay close attention to the last 30 seconds, she goes on an improvised run that will melt your soul.
