The next time you’re in big bear you HAVE to try tropicali!!!!! Poki restaurant thats tiki themed inside with food that is to DIE for, just like you i will make the 4 hour round trip just to get food from big bear, i just go to this place instead. 5 stars all across the board on yelp and if you try it and let everyone else know then the more people that can drool over this place!!!rated the BEST poki place in the COUNTRY said Yelp! Don’t even get me started on the good vibes that radiate when you walk in!!! Friendliest people on the mountain hands down. Every time i go you can guarantee i drive back down the mountain with at least 5 extra bowls for meal prep lmao. Now i have to drive up there and try out your spot. Thanks for the video Adam!!

I have an even bigger challenge I came up with as someone from Southern California instead of starting with sea start in the desert dirt bike early in the morning for a few hours than drive to the mountains ski or snowboard for a while than drive to the beach and surf tell your tired been considering this one for a while but imo if surfing before going to mountains is expert this is expert x2

Being a native Californian, It's great to see you doing a proper job of moving here and embracing the lifestyle. Adam is the type of import that California needs. Adam, as far as what California has to offer, you ain't seen nothin yet! Redwoods, San Fransisco, Silicon Valley, LakeTahoe, Wine country, and a whole lot of desert. Just to name a few. There's a fantastic Computer History museum in Mountain View across from the Google HQ. It's the mother ship for KZbinrs.

As a Brit expat to Arizona, I don’t think enough Americans appreciate just how much amazing scenery and things to do they have on their doorstop. I guess our immigrant perspective we see how awesome it is! Just got back from desert camping and exploring an old mine for the first time

I think what it boils down to is the rat race of civilization. People want to go out, explore, own or rent a boat, etc. They are so busy just keeping a roof over their head and providing the basics that all they have time for on their two days off per week is laundry and catching up on house work. Especially in hyper expensive areas. I'm retired now. I'm lucky enough to have made it here in my early 50s. I look back on my younger years as being starved for time.

One of the things I love about mountainous areas and country towns is the love and acceptance of animals there. It's true by the beach somewhat as well with the difference being that the coast is heavily populated which puts a damper on it.

Hi Adam, awesome footage. On another note, you obviously have ears at BRP who listen to you. Heres my idea and its very doable. There are two tubes in the bilge constantly sucking fresh air, basically doing nothing 99% of the time, waiting for the rare chance water should build up down there. They should be connected to the deepest part of the footwells with a filter to keep our feet from going soggy as well as protecting the bilge area. Please pass it on to Seadoo design team.

@@AdamSwords haha, loved the vid. I owned a home in Big Bear for 26 years. We sold it last March to buy a new home in AZ. All the places you visited I’ve been hundreds of times. Big bear is fantastic. Next time your there go to Murray’s. Small dive bar in the village. Mostly locals, good music, good food, good beer, good whiskey, and karaoke on the weekends is always entertaining. I always went to 572 Social for afternoons and happy hours for the live music as well. Great stuff. Cheers Mate
