Great video as usual Adam! About 2 months ago I was at a marimba camp with LHS and during a Q&A he said that if he had to recommend any single pair of mallets for solo marimba, it would have to be the LS15’s. Although he was probably a little biased, I still think these are amazing mallets!

Hi Adam, congrats for the channel! :) I wanted to ask you a really particular question....do you know any more-than-4-mallets-grip (6,8)? I know they do exist, but I have yet to find someone that uses them (and I wanted an unbiased opinion by someone else that's not the grip inventor). Thanks and keep up the good work!

Just a tip. You'll get a lot more out of your chorales by varying your roll speed. Slowing down your rolls does wonders for shaping a phrase.

The Melletech Thomas Burritt series is discontinued. His mallets are now made by Innovative Percussion
